Newbie question.....

Sorry if this sounds stupid but, my plants are only 3 and a half weeks old from seed and they are really starting to smell GREAT. Not that i mind the smell but, i don't have my carbon scrubber yet and the smell is getting very strong. I'm only worried about if the land lord comes over and smells it. BUT, I thought they didn't get that wonderful aroma until flowering (?).

The males tend to smell earlier, even in veg. Let's hope you don't have males. Either way though, the plant will smell throughout the grow cycle, and will get stronger and stronger up until you cut it down.

I have some easyriders that started smelling at 2 1/2 weeks from seed. They're almost 4 weeks old and the smell is getting stronger. Yea, the smell is awesome, but if you're worried you should be. A carbon scrubber or Ona Gel is a must.

Ona gel? Never heard of it. I'll look it up though, Thanks!

I just ordered some on Amazon.com on Monday and it was approximately $20 for 1 quart of it. If you don't want to do a carbon scrubber Ona Gel is what you want or need. Ona stands for odor neutralizing agent.

Ona Gel is a waste of cash imo.. way better to get a small scrubber.. the ona will only last a short period .. and when I had a tub of it.. all it did was make it smell like dank and perfume in my house. I still use it occasionally in the rest of the house when I know im having company.. but for the actual grow room.. CARBON scrubber is the way to go imo.

The freebies were supposed to be regular feminized big bud seeds. They must have ran out and just sent what they had. www.marijuana-seeds.nl is where i ordered from two and a half months ago. Took almost a month to get the seeds but, 100% germ and sprout rate. Will know more about the smoke later. Lol.

I am looking into Autos myself. Let me know when those are done I would like to know the yields and how the smoke is. Good to have a plant around to quickly finish, can never tell when a dry spell will hit!

This is my first grow so I'm not at all unhappy with the autos. It's all new to me so, I'm learning alot! The one that flowered first is (from what i gather from researching) actually very big for an auto. over 12 inches across, and ten high now. I'll let ya know how it all turns out.
