Newbie question

I just got a quick question guys, once my seeds have germinated do i have to plant them in a small container like a dixie cup and wait for them to sprout or can i put the germinated seeds straight into my two gallon smart pots i will be using

Some people transplant several times, and that's fine, but i normally just go straight into the container i'll be using for the rest of the grow. You'll get some people saying otherwise, just preferences really

I went from paper towel to 5 gallon pots.

yeah I am probably just going to go straight into the pot I will be using just for simplicity
