First time grower here. I decided to start with auto flowers because they seem to be the easiest or easiest from what I’ve read. Any tips and advice would be appreciated!

setup:

vivosun 36x36x72
Phlizon 1000w cob led
Vivosun 4” exhaust
Fox farm happy frog with 25% perlite
3 gallon cloth pots

You're going to need more than that light to cover that tent. I know the latest fad is LED but for the exact same price of that light you could have gotten a dimmable 600 watt HPS/MH setup with a sealed hood that would blow that light away and cover the entire tent. That light is actually 250 watts. Other than that it looks like you have everything in order. But think about getting more light if you really want to maximize your yield.

Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. I went with LED because I didn’t want the heat of a MH/HPS. I researched like no other and had seen great results with this light in a 3x3. I’ll definitely keep an eye out for supplemental lighting if needed though.

Don't believe all the Amazon reviews. A light like that requires close to 50W/square foot to provide decent results in flower and that light is only going to provide you with 27.2W/square foot in a 3x3 tent. Two of those lights running during flower would give you much better results. It's also worth mentioning that autos are not easier and are often not recommended for beginners. The only "easier" thing about autos is that you don't have to change the lighting schedule to 12/12 to get them to start flowering.
