NEWBIE!! to photo strain-(cotton candy)&(green love potion)

Im starting this thread in RIU because im new to photo strains ive been growing a coupple of auto's(ak47) and im currently on autoflower network(not giving credit to another blog just saying)!!!and they are all about autos some threads about regular strains but not like here RIU has EVERYTHING!!!(not bashing AFN)...ANYWAYS.....im growing cotton candy and green love potion all from attitude and fem seeds....my current set up is a 4x2x5 grow tent with a 400watt MH/HPS 6'cooltube with carbon filter and 190cfm fan located outside in back of tent air pulling through the cooltube instead of pushing.im using floraduo line from GH 3gallon pots ph adjusted RO water..now lets get to the questions 1.im also using FFOF X FFLW for my auto seedlings should i stick with that for photo's to?? 2.is 3gallon pot's enough room for roots? 3.seeing as my tent is only 5feet tall how will i keep them small enough?? 4.should i start nutes right away with photos or wait until a coupple weeks like auto's?? 5.can i plant directly into 3 gallon pots and put under 2 2ft t5's??(2x24watt). sorry for all the newbie questions but all i do know about photos is they grow nothing like autos.....few pic's of my set up and the auto's im growinggrow 1.jpgIMG_20120320_181742.jpgIMG_20120325_174658.jpgthe first pic is only to show the 2 t5's im talking about (NEVERMIND THE 400WATT BEING ON IT WAS JUST FOR SHOW.LOLit was the t5's that got those babies started)second pic is my line of nutes third is my set up as of yesterday minus the fan and filter(it should be here tomorrow as a matter of fact)..so any help would be gladly needed Thanks

rui is quite nice actually just if there arnt any comments to be made or questions to be answered we dont post but , photo strains are nice, im not much of a fan of autos

growing a photo is pretty much the same as a auto with the exception of the light cycles , and u can fim/top scrog photos better because u can give them more time to vegg and heal

No big deal. Like miko above said, photos are not much different from autos apart from only flowering under 12/12. I got a freebie GLP and CC along with a Qrazy Train order from Attitude. Both are about a month old and are easy plants to grow. If you Google them you can find what you want to know.

Anyway, photo is whats up. I'd imagine cheaper too if you did your autos 18/6 vs. 12/12 or whatnot.

The main difference between auto and photoperiod strains is light control. You veg at 18/6 or 24/0, and you flower at 12/12. You have fairly little vertical grow space there, so you'll need to go from veg to flower pretty quickly to manage canopy height, especially for the cotton candy, which is sativa dominant and will stretch aggressively. Aside from that, your experience with autos is valid for photos as well.

The folks here at riu are very friendly, and generally very quick to help a fellow grower with a problem. They're also very civilized, not a lot of flaming or junenile crap here. Hang in and good luck!

Ok well newsflash for ya....being gay isn't a race. Sheesh, lemme guess you went to public school in America??

Its cool though, "dick on dick action" isn't for everyone I assume. However, no need to demonize it

Uhm, flash's post was no different or much more detailed than others apart from being longer winded. And I'm not gay either, but in this day and age your comments are not appropriate or informed for this forum or anywhere

amen jar man lol, this isnt the the place to discus if being gay is right or wrong , imo to each his own , i personally love the pussy lol but if a guy wants to suck another guy off in the privacy of their home or where ever as long as its private so be it man, they arnt bothering you me or the ability to BE HAPPY N GROW TONS OF BUD :)
