NEWBIE WINDOWSILL GROW

High guys :grin:
As you can probably tell I am very new here and to the whole growing game. I have started growing Green Gelato Auto from RQS but as you can tell from the title I am growing by only using the windowsill method. I will be posting a picture of her and some updating ones on here as I have a few questions and would love some advice if anyone would care to share. I have already taken into consideration about on lookers, she is out of site out of mind at this stage of growth. I do have ideas on where to place her after but I will ask questions about that at a later date. I currently am working from home at the moment so I can keep an eye on her. I do run her around the house finding the best sun spots and occasionally turn her so she doesn't bend. Do you think she looks okay so far? this is 15 days since the sprout leaves had opened? I am very new to the terms and phases so please bare with me. Thank you.

Yeah she looks good.

Never grown canna in a window.
Might be a good idea to build a little white card stand to move around with it to reflect all light back onto her.

I love indoor sunshine grows, been doing them for awhile and get decent results, but as you say it's a lot of work moving the plants around to get the direct sunshine.

I grow hempy style (drain to waste) which has provided better results than soil...but that's me.

I typically use auto's so I can finish the grow during the peak of the summer sunshine as opposed to photos that finish in October

OH WOW! thanks so much for sharing this as i havent seen pictures of a window grow at this stage. Did you only use light from the window or did you add any in other equiptment? i would love to hear more about it please? Thank you!

yes, indoor sunshine....I will use a couple of 23 watt CFL bulbs for a week or two just to get the seedlings established.

Below is a link to my "past grows" if you would like to see my indoor sunshine grows in detail.

My past grows

Just wanted to have one grow journal with links to all my former grows so I can find them in the future

It's been pointed out that mirrors may only be about 90% reflective while flat white is also about 90% reflective and specialty coatings can be 95-96% reflective. From that angle it doesn't make sense to use mirrors. However there may be some advantages that aren't entirely obvious. Mirrors...
