newbie with cool cab

got a brand new cool cab from sunlight sheds. a friend of mine bought it but his wife told him to take it back. instead he gave it to me for my birthday along with 10 ww seeds. we've been browsing the forum and are a bit overwhelmed about getting started.

does anyone out there have one of these things? something similar? we're going to start putting it together i guess, but does anyone have any advice, things to do, not to do? i'll be reading through as much of the forum as i can, but if anyone has some thoughts on getting started aside from just following the directions that came with it, i'd appreciate it.

Go ahead and set it up, get a feel for it or whatever, but DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT plant those seeds yet. Read up on these forums for about a month before you do anything resembling growing. There is lots of good info here. You also need to buy a book, called "Growing Indoors with Soil and Hydroponics", by George F. Van Patten. After you read that, you can decide for yourself if you want to read any of his other material, or if you even want to continue with this pursuit. It's exciting, but it ain't for everyone. but that book is basically the bible of indoor growing. Keep in mind, it doesn't tell you how to grow pot. That's what this forum is for. But it will let you get your head wrapped around what you're about to do, and without big scientific jargon. I understand that you feel overwhelmed, because starting out is overwhelming. But you need to get a firm grasp on the concepts of how indoor growing works BEFORE you try it. Don't take what I'm saying as being rude or disrespectful, because I'm not. I'm just trying to help.
