Newbiw nutes

I would just again like to state for all you new comers, be open to alternative nutrient application.

Fox farm and advanced nutrients have the same NPK salts that any other ferts would have available as powdered nutes that are far less costly. It may take a more clever and dedicated eye but you can out perform them by far.

It also cuts down on plastic wastes if we all were to use boxed powdered nutrients, unless you enjoy paying 100 dollars for something that 90 percent water and usually only lasts one complete cycle. My powdered nutes have lasted me a year and through many varieties of plants at a cost of 30 dollars.

Just open your eyes and don't be slave to advertisement machines that are just trying to take advantage of the new horticultural growers, they are geared toward marijuana growers only and figure they can charge more because of what their nutrients are used for if we all group together we can show them we won't pay such high prices for watered down nutrients.:fire::cuss:

just because it has the same NPK ratio.... doesn't mean it has the same ingredients.... compare them.... broha.

While we're on the eco-friendly topic, I've been doing some research on bat guano and have found that the ways of harvesting guano from caves is destroying the ecosystem (guano is the base of the food chain in cave systems). Furthermore, since the guano they harvest is "fossilized," it is thousands of years old and therefore is not a sustainable resource. The islands which contain the mountains of peruvian seabird guano are expected to only last another 10 to 20 years, for example.

I have yet to find a better source of organic P than jamaican/peruvian guano that is also totally eco friendly. I just bought some mexican bat guano for N, but I am going back to old fish tank water until I find something that is more economically feasable and only using guano for flowering. Sunleaves guano claims to be eco friendly. I emailed them about their methods of guano extraction but have received no reply.

I love bat/bird shit so this is kind of depressing.

yes i've read the labels and the books and the forums, they have the same nutrient salts that any other plant food company puts out the only differences is in the quantum strength ratio. This affects the physics changing the way plants up take water and use nutrients.

I'm just saying they aren't worth the money they charge because i've out performed all the big named nutrients just using schultz, i've watched ppl who grew for 40 or 50 years not do as well as I have in one.

Just trying to spread the word that you don't need to fall game to advertisement to grow ginormous buds, I mean not many of the canni champions out there use that liquid crap either they formulate their own compound via powdered nutrient salts.

Really? I burned some of my plants with schultz at 1/4 strength once and have been wary of it since, which is why I decided to go organic. Maybe I won't trhow that stuff away after all... I have the 10-15-10 drops, though, is that what you use?

Very odd the plant I just harvested yielded 200 plus grams and I fed it 3 times the amount of what the box said.

Like I said it just takes more diligence and experience and you can vastly out perform paying for watered down nutes.:leaf:

Not to mention I don't trash my plants even in Hydro.. and i've never owned a PH meter or an eC meter or any meter other than temperature and hygrometer

good to know! I myself will be using miracle grow nutes. Since I have not seen many people mention using them I started to question if they were right to use
