Newest Leaves Twisting (Not Curling)

I asked what kind of nutrients you added on the first feed because I wanted to see what type of damage you did to your existing microbes that were already in the soil.
I used 1 1/2 teaspoons of Big Bloom, 1 1/2 teaspoons of Grow Big and 1/8 teaspoon of Open Sesame to a gallon of water.

That doesn't seem like a lot according to their feed chart, if I'm reading it correctly. I suppose you have 2 choices the tea or the flush and of those two the flush is the easiest.

I appreciate the help man. I guess I'll flush them out tomorrow. I'm assuming that tap water will be ok for this? Will it need to be PHed or anything?

I ph'd my water when I flushed I'm not sure what everyone else does but it just kind of make sense too do it. Lucky your in the smart pots it makes it so much easier flush.

Yes they will droop for a couple of days, when I flushed my mess a time back Dr. Greenthumb told me to use all purpose 10-10-10 fertilizer (Vigoro like product) at 1/4 to 1/2 strength on my last gallon of the flush. These were in Pro Mix with no amendments though. Your medium has nutrients in it so I'm not sure if you want to add any in during the flush, it seems like your just recreating the initial problem all over. I would kind of like to see if the flush fixed the problem first. Maybe someone else could chime in on this one to add some insight.

Well without doing anything today the girls are looking better. A lot less clawing, although the leaves on the Fruit Auto are still a little twisted. Overall they look healthier today.

Good to hear NJ, it looks like you may have dodged a bullet there. I have been thinking about the flush idea and I am still not convinced that flushing mediums with nutrients amended into them (like yours) can be done successfully. Oh well looks like you don't need to worry about that now. Good luck NJ!
