Newibe growing in a 1.2ft wide by 1.7ft tall space, good seeds to start with ?

Im about to go to maplins in england to buy a power strip and 2 26w clfs, im wanting to grow 2 small plants in my room in a draw which i have gutted out. i am living with parents so has to be small haha, it looks mint like a normal draw.

Anyway i been reading and reading and i only want 2 seeds to try to grow 2 plants and i have come across Short Rider female seeds which are very cheap and apparantly grow quickly, so im probs going to buy a couple of them from http://www.pickandmixseeds.co.uk/products/nirvana-short-rider

Is this wize or are they crap?

also anyone else in the UK do focus and maplins sell good stuff for growing ?

and any other UK places you know of ?

I have heard alot of times that short ryder isnt a true auto strain, some are some are not.

I would order a few female auto seeds since they finish fast an small an can go under 24 hrs light. you could also use your area to veg some regulars for outdoors this spring.

I just chose the cheepest autos i could find ( wich was the red an white dwarf). got 2 red dwarf , 2 white dwarf, an one auto maria, from some single seed bank.

I commented on your other thread don't post same topic in different forums. Also if your thinking of plugging them bulbs straight into a power strip like you see on here we do not have them power strips in UK nor will they work over here. You need to get a fitting to plug bulbs into. Look on your other thread.

i didnt know that thread posted cause pc went weird lol.

ah aww dam i see what you mean, so i need to get like plug adapters to put onto a multi lead. I will have a look at the other thread on were to get them but could you point me in the right direction or to the right post as im not very good with electrics lol.

and yer i was looking at the white and red dwalf and they looked pretty cheap would i be safer getting them? are the harder to grow thoe ?

Trust me unless you have odor control in place go with Northern Lights. Also we do not have adapters eithier. You will need whats called hangers. Like I say, eBay is the best. get a 300w dual spectrum CFL with hanger. Make sure it includes hanger to save you hassle.

Weres the cheapest place to buy 1 or 2 single female nothern lights seeds ?

i will be using mild odor control consisting of carbon filter and fan and pipe in summer.

cant a buy a 300w spectrum cfl bulb from screwfix or diy store and just use reflective material ?

No. These giant CFL's are for the purpose of growing. What reflective material you thinking? If its tin foil no. Paint the insides white. Get some free tester pots of white from B&Q or something. I would say try attitude seed bank or pick and mix seeds.

The northern lights dosent smell much , but you will have to light proof your area to get it to flower in there. And you will have to go 12/12 from seed to keep it small enough. The NL would also take about a month longer than auto to finish. The red dwarf is suposed to be stincky but the white isnt ,

well i got 3 choises NL White dwalf and short rider. Short rider seems to be the quickest to grow and it looks like you get more from it, NL looks quite long and hard (i heard it lol). The white dwalf i really like the look of and the name haha and says it only takes 2 months to grow, but its more expensive.

So i dono.

i want the least smelly one that takes least time to grow and will give me most weed at the end of it.

so what one do i choose ?

Well northern lights give u lowest odor and biggest yield yes itt akes a bit longer. Remember there only guidelines they publish if syas 8 weeks sometimes more like 10.

You get no bud from males. I would say get a couple but do one at a time invade you screw one up. No offnce to you we all have done it at some point.

Could be 3 weeks till you can tell if it's male. Generally if you get feminized seeds you will get a female I haven't had a prob with them.
