also you have put holes in the bottom of those cups yes? if not then needs done.
Yes cups had holes, I'm going to talk to the guy I bought them from because he said he would replace them if they started dying. While I'm sure the heat didn't help, now that they are all turning yellow I'm thinking it may have been partly his fault as well.

How many holes? Solid containers with holes at the bottom are fine for soil plants, but for a young clone in rockwool, it shouldn't be more than a temporary storage unit for transport. There are large solid pots with net bottoms to be used in hydro (filled with clay pellets), but these are different.

The plastic cup had an X cut into the bottom. I pulled the plant and rockwool out of the cup and transplanted it into soil. The rockwool was still wet last night (I got clones on Tuesday).

Now, I have one light in one tent with about 14 plants in 4 gallon pots in soil. And 9 in another with the same deal. Humidity has risen to close to 30 percent, and temps are down to 78 degrees as of this morning.

So, should I fully water the plants or wait it out a bit?

If there is moisture in the soil, don't over-water. Just hand water every now and then to keep it moist. Baby them. The temp decrease is great and should help a lot. 30% humidity is good.

Yeah, if those clones were just sitting in plastic cups with an X cut out at the bottom, they were dying of root rot. A rooted clone in rockwool cannot be treated as a rooted clone in a small soil pot. Unlike soil that naturally holds roots in place without the need for constant aeration, roots establishing in nothing but rockwool need all the things applied externally that soil provides internally. That means the roots must be exposed to oxygen, moisture, and nutrient constantly since there is no soil medium where the roots can take their time breaking shit down in the dirt.

That rockwool was absoloutly SOAKED, the roots didnt have any oxygen. Same thing happens with over watered or poorly aerated soil...you should be rocking and rolling if you transplanted to soil.

Best of luck dude and happy growing!

But if I planted them in soil WITH the rockwool cubes, am I still ok?
