NFT grow what EC?

I'm growing 3 Sogouda in NFT their in the 3rd week of veg about 20" high i fed them an EC of 1.1 PH 5.8 last res change the next day when i checked on them they had dropped to an EC .4 and PH 6.8 is this normal? the nutes i'm using are house and garden aqua flakes A and B with some guanokalong, when i top the res up i'm topping up with a 0.7 EC, PH 5.2 any help with this concern is appreciated

Now sorted, as long as the PH rises it means that they are feeding normally if the PH lowers it's due to infection, just need to bump up the ferts next res change ready to flower happy days!!!

Ok, back in coco at the moment but will be reverting back to NFT as soon as i find another mother that i like i get bored quickly so i need to grow at least 2 strains at a time, at the mo i got 4 strains running but when i find something i really like i'll be switching back to NFT because the grow above i had root rot the plants didn't grow for the last 4 weeks and still gave me 16o of primo gear

Hardly alive but i'm still on here and reverting back to NFT again in the next week or 2

Ok.. After a 12 year hiatus I am coming out of retirement and NFT is my method of choice, doesnt seem to be that many practicing this art on the forums for what I can tell,certainly not in N.America..

Yes information on NFT is indeed scarce on this site, there are a few of us but not many, my next go should be starting in the next few weeks with 5 or 6 blue cheese so i'll keep you posted

I used to run high wattage NFT and noticed (at least with high wattage) that my pH stayed much more stable running a very high EC I was often as high as 1.3 to 1.8. Plants eat fast in this medium.

Your not wrong, the 1st time i tried NFT i started with an EC of 1 and 4 days later i had to feed them again i've never seen such explosive growth which is partly the reason for reverting back from coco
