Hey,
I have my flower room set up for NFT. Im using 5"x5" plastic fence posts all enclosed.
I cut holes on top for 3" net pots.
I have a steady flow of highly aerated waters flowing down the channel, with carpet padding on the bottom of the water channel to distribute the flow of water evenly across the channel.
My question is this: if I put a newly rooted clone into the fence post, the bottom of the netcup where the roots will come out are 3 inches above where the flow of water is.
Will the plant still grow even though the roots are not touching the water yet, until the roots grow about 3"? Or do I need to top drip feed them until the roots develop enough?
REP for help! Thanks
