dude this could be the true cause to the burn on my plant. My friend isn't too wise and when I showed him my seedling he exhaled on it (idk wtf lead him to believe it'd be good for it. thinking plants breathe in what we breathe out?) but i was like dude why?..

and i put it under the light and lowered my light so thats what i thought burnt my plant, but could it have been his stupid ass breathing on my plant?

I about shit myself when I read that.... Do you wear a hair net, surgical gloves and a smock and do all your germination work in a clean room as well??? It's seed germination mate... not delicate brain surgery. I'm not knocking YOUR process but man... talk about making it sound complicated. If you are concerned about possible bacterial contamination then give your beans a quick dip in a 20% H202 solution. That's about as sterile a start as you are going to get.

I add 1tbsp of epsom salt to a gallons jug of RO water and use this to germ all of my plant seeds. The magnesium in epsom salt assists with the process of seed germination; infusing the seed with this important mineral and helping to strengthen the plant cell walls, so that the plant can receive essential nutrients. Magnesium also plays a crucial role in photosynthesis by assisting with the creation of chlorophyll, used by plants to convert sunlight into food. In addition, it helps in allowing the plant to soak up phosphorus and nitrogen, which serve as vital fertilizer components for the soil.

Your guide doesnt suck and the tard that keeps telling you all this is silly obviously doesnt need to be commenting, there are tons of ways to germinate seeds, if you have an endless supply of seeds then just tossing them in some soil and watering them may be fine, but like you pointed out you cant see if the seed is germinating/viable, i prefer to germinate my seeds hydroponically as well, number one because i grow hydro and not soil, number two i can see if a seed is a dud pretty easily, and i know which end to plant facing down once the root pops. One method I will use which i feel provides practically a 100% success rate every time is to place my seeds in a small hand held screen strainer, then take a new cloth, i use a microfiber cloth, and wrap the strainer with it. I then place the strainer under a "drip line," dripping on the cloth covering the screen strainer with the seeds inside, about one drip every 2 or 3 seconds. This works best if the water is warm, which may be hard to do, but if you have good tap water then you can just place the screen strainer cloth duo right under the faucet in a sink, if you happen to have one that no one uses, with the warm side just dripping slowly for at least a few days. Ive had seeds grow 1 to 2 inch roots and come completely out of their shell in one night, and almost always if the seeds are viable then you will experience 100% germination. I Usually wont even look inside the cloth wrapped strainer for 4 days to allow the seedling to grow nice long roots and totally drop the seed shell exposing the cotyledon, its at this point you would carefully plant them in your preferred medium.
