nice problem to have...

So the girls have at least three weeks to go...possibly more... but the buds are getting so heavy that some side shoots are starting to hang lower and lower... it wont be long till they flop down to the floor.

So what to do to prop them up? Keeping in mind that in order to water them all i need to pull one right out of the room so i can move the others around the room.

For one i have just taped a stake to the side of the pot and tied the shoot to it...

I wonder if i couldve just jammed it down in the soil??? Wouldnt that damage too many roots?

What to do?

Get bamboo stakes they sell them at your garden or hydro store in probably 2,4,6 foot lengths or proper metric equivalents and put them in the soil and twist tie onto them. I like the rapiclip softies.

Alternatively use a tomato cage.

Stop worrying about the roots & stick them stakes in the soil... use a couple per pot, along the perimeter-- then wrap string stake to stake... I usually start @ the btm & work my way to the top...

Ah. I see, I think - wrap the string around like making a tomato cage?

So if I stick the stake down the perimeter should I angle it in towards the center a little bit to get that conical shape?

Precisely. Be sure to anchor the stakes to the pot so when you're wrapping the string it doesn't suck the stakes into the center too bad.
