Night Hike of Doom – why watering at night sucks ass

a word to the wise...

So I’ve had three plants (here’s the journal – Outdoor Test Run) at a moderatley accessable spot for a month now, and thanks to my illogical stoner paranoia I thought it would be best to try watering at night, yes I know its best in the morning. The kicker was that we could only use the flashlights if we HAD to as people might see us out there (legit concern based on the location). Let me just take a moment to say

That’s pretty much the climax of the story. I ate it into a pile of thorns and got hurt the most by trying to get out. Nothing needing professional medical attention. Besides the thorns I also couldn’t find the safe path (both into the spot and leaving), almost couldn’t find the plants, and generally got covered in thick pollen and blood sucking critters. Oh, the things I do for love. So be safe at night people, and wear extremely rugged clothing if possible.

haha, fuck no! I must have been loud as shit just trying to delicatley maneuver my way out of the thorns. if i had been watching myself get bitch slapped by nature from a different angle, i'd be laughing my ass off. I must have looked like a drunk sailor trying to fuck a tree.

I hear you man, I have tried to find my grow spots in the dark before too and it sucks!

I end up being stupid and going out either half drunk or fully stoned and walk around the woods like a complete idiot. Growing outdoors is so much fun but the landscape in my area changes so much during growing season that I end up forgetting where I planted my herb :)

I actually mark my grow spots with a handheld GPS now just so my ass can find them!

lol, you should have thought of the path u planned to take before hand. i made the same mistake as u one time and twisted my ankle really bad. that sucked, it was the longest most painful walk/crawl of my life.(what am i gonna do, call the police? lol)

damn, i really could've had it much worse. I hadn't been to the spot in two weeks, so it was all unrecognizably overgrown when i went there at night. thank zombie jesus i wasn't seriously hurt.

I know how you feel as I must water at night to be stealth. I can't get up early enough to do it in the morning. I too am in sticker bushes and I swear I saw bigfoot the other night and scared me enough to change my schedule from night to early morning. now I know it wasn't bigfoot, but I saw something I didn't like. (no it was not a deer) it was bigger! I've gotta quit smoking da-bomb before watering. lol!

yeah-outdoor night waterer in here too-have fallen really hard to couple of times, cas when i want to reach my plot i every time have to climb some shit over cas its on a hughe pile of sticks and shit-i call it LIL mounatain of SHIT.

lmao My wifes response to this mainly cause she doesnt smoke. Is "thats paranoia its a side effect". Any stoner moment or anything I do dumb is always followed by thats a side effect. I guess I would rather her blame the mj instead of realizing some of the stuff I do is cause Im just a dumbass. I can just picture someone in the woods late at night trying to water some plants and see something big and get scared as shit. Lol to you good sir. +rep to you and the op. Just for the wake and bake laugh.

haha my girl always says thats why they call it dope when i do some thing stupid or have a stoner moment but i once to had a scary run in this year while packing all my manure and soil and all that shit i was canoeing everything in which i find to be the most stealthest way to do it .... but as im heading up creek my paddle it something hard so first thought was a rock but then as it jumps out of the water alll i can think of is gator as ive recently moved to ny from florida and lived there for the past 15 years almost shit pants screamed louder then most little girls could ever have needless to say it was a monster pike ..... a night i will never forget...
