Nirvana ballast kits sound level? There cheap... So Are the loud?

Anyone ever fuck with Nirvanas ballast kits? Im just weary because there so cheap.. My deal is im looking at the 250w hps and i need it to not be detectable in sound ambience... Im working on a micro cabinet and will use .5 inch ply wood for the walls, and i think ill use a somewhat thick pad of tinfoil to insulate the ballast from the wood wall to kill the vibrations... Info on this much apprecaiated..

No experience with them but my Apollo 600 watt cool tube was 187 shipped off amazon... I don't know why you would be concerned about noise. You can't tell if they are on or not unless maybe you don't get a digital? Idk but they aren't noisy.

king... Yeah the ballast kits on htg are magnetic... And since there so cheap i was weary... I had a 150w magnetic before and had no problems, but the higher the watt the more noise i assume, and i never fucked with 250wss...

kind - Cool, incouraging... What if you turned all the fans off just to get a feel for this... Would you be able to hear it from like 5 feet away to where youd be, if you didnt know what it was, what the fuck is that? I want this thing to be SILENT in dead ambience...
