Nirvana Blackjack?

Anyone have any experience with this strain? Considering it for a future small indoor bubbleponic grow, after I relocate to a med-friendly locale.

Smoke reports? Growing difficulties? Things to watch out for? Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I've got a fem seedling that just popped out of soil. I will be growing outdoors, so I don't know how much help I will be... I'd look up genetically similar strains (Nirvana usually replicates other companies' lines), and ask about those, if you don't find many people with BlackJack experience. Basically it's similar to Jack Herrer x Black Domina.

That sounds delicious! Are you going to have a journal?

that's bull shit. nirvana does not replicate, they have their own strewn line of genetics to work with. they just pick strain names that mock expensive breeders' strains, like jock horror, ak48 etc.

their genes are legit, but are not replicated. they don't spend that much time working with then, they just make new crosses each go round. and give them new names.

Where is the bs?

Sensi Seeds Jack Herer (original) = Skunk #1, Haze, Northern Lights #5

Nirvana's description of Jock Horror -

Jock Horror is a threefold hybrid of Northern Light, Skunk and Haze. Jock produces so much resin that even its branches glisten with glands. This variety has a unique fresh flavour and packs a strong "up" buzz. Our Jock finishes flowering earlier than the ORIGINAL JACK of a few years ago. One of our all-time favourite strains

I'm not saying they haven't developed any of their own lines, but they have replicated other companies' lines to produce a poor man's version of the original. They are not mocking them, but associating with them.

So...fine threadjack in progress. Not interested in debating Nirvana's marketing tactics in this particular forum. Just looking for somebody with experience on this strain. Thanks.

Grew two of these. One was genetic flawed and was blotched/spotted from the first leaves. It kept growing and was one thick bush when it went to flower. "Nice tight buds and grape like calyxes" ...not from my experience - the two blue dreams next to em were tight are buds and much thicker - not these blackjacks. Took clones from all and culled the BlackJacks as the buds on the parents were too fluffy. When Nirvana says the Grow level is HARD...believe em. these things were very temperamental to any fluctuation in temps, humidity, PH - would take a few grows to focus it all in - but too many other better strains than to waste my time again on this one....not to mention the free Nirvana "surprise seeds" are a kick in the teeth. Tell me what your giving me....if they are seeds that rolled on the floor and swept up at the end of the day.. tell me
