(Nirvana)Mango skunk vs Bagseed

Anybody ever seen this.. so cannabis leaves grow in sets of twos, one on each side of the stem as im sure we all know.. However, one of my plant has grown a set of three which i havent personally seen before.. theres 2 fanleaves one one side and one on the other..heres a couple pics

Yeah actually my single AK48 seed had this same thing going on. At first the whole thing was unsymmetrical sets of 3. Then, it developed symmetry on 1 side of the plant with thin leaves, 5 leaves per fan. The other side of plant is still growing in sets of 3 with wide leaves, 7-9 leaves per fan. Looks like 2 different plants growing from 1 stem now. It's so ugly that I stopped posting pics of it and sent it into flower

It's pretty normal for it to happen with seeds, I believe it to be a slight genetic mutation, nothing to worry about

Edit: I'm not sure how it relates to yield, I would think it would be better to have more shoots coming out.

Glad to hear its not as uncommon as I'd thought .. and i'd agree that more shoots MAY be beneficial. Especially with a scrog, which i plan on doing once they get bigger..

Wow you weren't kidding, it really does look like two different plants.. i wonder if the buds will be different as well. Very interesting indeed

She's healthy tho, nonetheless.. keep me updated on her if you dont mind. I'd like to see how she turns out in the end

I started a thread on this plant awhile back when she was just a seedling. I haven't paid much attention to her since. I thought it was just going to start growing as 1 normal plant, but it's still weird.

UPDATE:

We're 7 days into the veg and everything looks good.. i fed them yesterday until i could see a bit of run off. This feeding i upped the micro/bloom/and grow nutes to 1/4th teaspoon of each per gallon.. and i think i used a teaspoon per gallon of cal-mag but i dont remember, it couldve been two teaspoons per gallon.. and i also added my seaweed extract to top things off. The yellowing in the center of the new growth seems to have resolved itself. My aurora indica got wind burn as a seedling and thw brown edges have not gone away. I might trim them or just let it go..not sure yet. I fimmed the one in the larger green pot twice. Its bottom branches have compensated well. Beyond that , everything seems well.. after the pictures i raised the other three plants to force my canopy to be even..i a good 5 or 6 inches im height but its just another lesson learned... anyway, heres the pics cs

Looks good! I wouldn't give up on that aurora plant just yet, still early enough to make a full recovery.

The yellowing in the new growth of that 1 plant looks completely gone. Was it the calmag that was the issue?

They should start getting big soon, are these all feminized seeds?

I do think it was a calmag and SLIGHT nitrogen deficiency. I foilar fed with seaweed extract and calmag twice a day and that also seemed to help the color return a bit quicker but honestly not a huge difference. Honestly none of these are fem , which horrifies me lol. I hate not knowing what to expect.. ..its even possible i only get 1 female ! Lets hope that isnt the case.. but i do have 5 femmed girlscout cookies seeds on the way.. along with 10 haze and 5 freebies which unfortunately arent femenized either

OK GUYS!, kicking things off EARLY in the beginning of the second week of veg with some LST. I didnt have anything on hand to pin the ladies down with so i used allen keys, yes , ALLEN KEYS ! lol.. ill be better prepared in the future. But im hoping this encourages the lower part of the plant to produce more shoots. Since the tops are pinned down it will havr rhe same effect as actually topping and avert its energy to the lower shoots.. thats the goal anyway.

Looking good, be sure to never let your CoCo dry out. You want to feed everyday when in coco and never just plain water. I'm a new member here but I've been growing for almost two years now. I just started in coco about six months ago and I love it. Very fast growth and larger buds imo. I'm sure you will like it also. I would also recommend using great white, it helps build big root mass.

So, here we are on the 2nd day of the 3rd week of veg. That'd be day 16 to be exact.. not really much to update on besides the fact that i DEFINITELY had sum nute deficiency going on.. nitrogen for sure was lacking. And i still believe they are telling me they need SOMETHING else, unfortunately i haven't figured that out.. i pulled some bottom leaves as they were yellow and going crispy.. about 3 days ago i gave them the FULL dosage of the General Hydroponics nutes (grow, micro, bloom) also the recommended amount of cal mag maybe a few drops extra.. After feeding, the yellowing has not seemed to progress.. before the last feeding the yellowing was working its way up from the bottom quickly.. also the yellowing in the center of the new growth returned on the aurora indica but has since seemed to recover.. the aurora still seems to be slow going and the trim may have stunted her seeing how she didt have many leaves anyway .. so im about halfway through my 30 day veg.. The Bag seed sativa is KICKING ASS. I fimmed her twice and pinned her down and she has exploded and has atleast 7 tops right now which was the plan.. the others are honestly like a week or two younger but i didnt fim or top b4 pinning them down and i did not receive the desired effect.. the sativa is a PRIME example of what i was going for here.. i may top the other ones and veg for an extra week or 2.. i only planned on vegging 30 days but depending when i top i may need to add a recovery week or 2 on top of that .. i think it would be very beneficial to allow them the proper recovery time... anyway heres the pics .. personally im only imressed with one and others seem average at this age if not below.. hoping they turn it around.. (the aurora was stood back up, it isnt ready for lst)

And this is why im running a short veg this grow.. i'd like to get to these other Genetics. Plus im just not crazy about the current grow so 30 days - 45 days tops

So i just watered and fed my plants.. i fully understand now that i cant let the coco/perlite medium get dry..even when it feels moist just an inch down , it isnt enough for the roots to drink easily .the drainage is great so im not particularly worried about over watering . also my ph meter seems out of wack which is unfortunate because its fairly new.. i used the liquid test and its usually accurate if u match the colors correctly .. so ill be watering a minimum of every three days. Ill keep feeding until the plants tell me otherwise and ill be back in a week with a full update.. oh i also had a small heat issue.. that also has been resolved .. hopefully these "fixes" will speed up growth..

Ill be looking into these for my next grow.. is the process the same? By that i mean is it water soluble or is it something i can mix in the dry medium? Im not a fan of the synthetic nutes which is what i have now (general hydroponics). I dont hate it but I'd much rather grow organic
