All those 'vouching' for Nirvana should only do so if they purchased within the last 2 years. I bought 3 different packs of regulars from herbies and 90% were duds.
Someone said the Head man at Nirvana hasn't been around for years.
Buyer beware.
good point, i am still trying to find some of their nypd seeds from 09/10

That is how they have always been. I literally just posted that like five post above, lol. It's a $20 seed pack, you buy a couple packs and run they all at once and find a nice mom to clone or breed with, that is how I've always viewed Nirvana.

If you're buying a pack of nirvana and running a few beans, well...

I've grown Nirvana's Northern Lights, Aurora Indica, and Wonder Woman. I liked all three, though the Wonder Woman was pretty average.
How was that aurora indica? I got 8 of those as freebies and I'm pretty stoked on the genetics in it.

Way I look at it is for $80 I got 40 plants to find just 1 keeper to make it worth it and given my experience with well over 15 packs of nirvana seeds in the past, I like my odds. As I said I'll post up mine when I get to them after running a crop of my testers.

I'll pop the whole pack of what ever ones I decide on, let them germinate and cull the weaker plants after a couple weeks then sex them and cull all males. I'm guessing I'll get the 50/50 m/f and out of those 5 I'm sure a couple will be culled for lagging, so probably only end up being like 3-4 females being flower to completion and maybe 1 will be bomb or maybe not. That's the fun of pheno hunting, risk and reward.

Do you know the meaning of duds?
In case you don't , it means the seeds don't germ.

I didnt interpret it that way , thought you meant non-keepers or throw aways. I never had germination issues with nirvana but i havent ran any lately. I have several packs i bought within the last couple yrs with the new packaging, wasnt planning to pop any but this thread has about changed my mind. Did you get any good girls from the other 10% ?

I haven't finished popping all 3 packs. Popped at least 15, maybe 20.
Picked up white widow, northern lights and ak-48.
A few popped out the dirt but died immediately.
I think I had 1 female ww that was ok. It might of been seedsman tho. I can't remember. Plant was nothing special.
And 1 ak or nl turned out to be a male.
I'm in the states and got them from herbies so who knows if the 'radiation' packages theory is true or not.
Maybe herbies didn't store them properly.
30 bucks a pack is too good to be true for good genetics.
