Nirvana Shop Feminized Northern Lights w/250 Watt MH/HPS Growlight

Well today I cut a little nugget off of one of my side buds on the uncut plant because over 50% of the hairs were dark orange so I could test its strength and effect. I did a quick dry at 40% power in 10 second intervals multiple times till the bud was where I wanted it. After smoking it in a bubbler, the definitely is creeper and actually has a decent taste for being fast dried. Very uplifting head high with a touch of body buzz to go with it. So will probably be cutting my massive bud on the uncut plant either Friday or Saturday after I get some more molasses/water feedings in first. The massive bud is around 50% covered in orange now so by the end of the week it should be right where I want it. The bud that I quick dried also looked very pretty after dried having lots of green and orange with crystals that gleamed in the light. Almost didn't even want to smoke it but then remembered why I cut it off in the first place. Will update with more pics at the end of the week when I will also hopefully be cutting my massive cola off!!

Nice dude, but speaking from experience, Don't do it! ... wait until the plant is fully mature and cured a few weeks.. it's for the best. The first few times you smoke a strain are the best times.. and you won't be getting the best of out of it unless its done right.. just thought I would advise you as I did what your doing with my cindy and I wish I had have waited a few weeks until it was done right..

Well I got to thinking today and am curious if anyone knows where I can get some good genetics for feminized Blueberry. Nirvana doesn't carry it and I would love to grow some here during the winter time when it is cooler in my grow area. Not too many seed companies ship to the U.S. though so makes it hard to find anyone with decent genetics that carries it.

DJ Flo and Sagarmatha both have the original BB genetics. Ive tried the Dutch Passion BB and was not impressed, tasted way more kushy than fruity to me. I recently tried G13 Labs Blueberry Gum (BB x Bubble Gum) and really liked it. Sweet smell and taste, was very good.

Jordan of the Isles has some outstanding blueberry and BB crosses, but I'm not sure if you can get his seeds at any seedbank or not.

I have actually harvested the giant main cola from the uncut plant as it was where me and my dad wanted the buzz. Now letting the other buds on the uncut plant ripen some more and then will harvest those as well. The fimmed plant still hasn't been touched yet and probably has at least another week I would say before its ready to harvest. I have included a pic of the giant main cola I harvested here and this pic was take after I manicured it some after harvest right before putting into my dry closet.



I will probably just post pics as I harvest from now on since I am checking it everyday for ripe buds so keep up throughout the next week or a little more.

Also to add onto previous post.....this giant main cola weighed approx. 3 ounces wet give or take so hoping for an ounce of dry weight from it hopefully.

Well I have completely harvested the uncut plant which after some decent manicuring is now drying in my dry closet as you can see in the pic. The one big bud on the screen is the top half of the main cola and all the bud on the screen which is fairly dry now since I harvested over 3 days time all of which weighs about an ounce. I am guess with all the buds hanging from string that there should be another ounce there so hopefully 2 ounces dry weight total for the uncut plant. The fimmed plant is still maturing and I am giving her molasses/water pretty much everyday cause she eats so much. Buds are getting really thick and dense with an extremely sweet smell. Guessing that the fimmed plant will probably go another week at most but shall see. So from what I can tell it seems I will probably get around 4 ounces total dry weight from both plants which would be awesome and more than I had expected for only my second grow. By the way, as you can see I have cut the giant main cola down into smaller buds with the exception of the top half so that it could dry a little better without worrying about all the water weight inside of the main stem.

Another update before my last.....both plants harvested now and drying......the smaller buds that have already dried properly are some super good smoke and will only get better with time. My last update will have the total dry weight which as of right now looks to be about 4 ounces in total. Included a couple of pics of the total harvest drying minus some buds that are already in the cure jar.

**LAST UPDATE** Well this is my final update for this grow, but I will start up another journal for my Nirvana Pure Power Plant and Nirvana Bubblelicious AF grow I am starting up in a couple of days. In total I got 2 1/2 ounces of dried bud from both Northern Lights plants. The uncut tastes really good while smoking very smooth and burning a long time. It has a pretty strong buzz to it, but not as strong as the fimmed buds. The fimmed plant produced some seriously dense buds which are extremely sticky. They taste really sweet, while also burning a long time and smoking very smoothly. Very happy with the product for sure and 2.5 ounces isn't bad for only my 2nd grow. Each plant will only get better as I gain experience. Make sure to subscribe to my next journal if you are interested in watching a grow using the genetics I am using.
