Couldn't find much info on this strain but I wanted to grow it anyway. Thought I would share what I have learned here.
I ordered a 5 pack of Nicole x Banana OG, 3/5 popped in 24 hours.
Day 3:
All 3 plants were topped on day 15:
Day 20:
Day 34:
The plants grew very short and bushy as advertised. I had them under 4000k COBs so it was a veg specific spectrum, but they don't seem to like to stretch at all. I flipped the plants to 12/12 shortly after this picture was taken on day 34. Overall, I had no problems in veg and they were very easy to grow. Recovered quickly from topping and responded well to LST.
Flowering:
Day 12:
Day 32:
Day 37:
Day 43:
Day 49:
Nugs:
As I live in the Northern Hemisphere, this was a winter grow for me. Compounding this I was forced to keep my tent in an unheated garage for several weeks, as well as move to a new apartment around week 6 of flowering. Not advised. However, the three plants managed to yield roughly 90g, 80g, and 50g, allowing me to pull just under a half pound out of the tent. I think the plants could have stretched and yielded a lot more in a summer grow and I look forward to trying this strain again. Also, the stash was running low so I harvested around day 54. I would not recommend this. I had some amber trichs and became impatient, but next time I will let the strain go at least 9 weeks.
Smell is as advertised, very fruity hybrid with the classic OG smell.
Taste is sweet, not overpowering, classic.
Effect is typical hybrid for me. Strong head rush, nice lasting buzz, then a sleepy couch lock. Seems very high THC.
You can find lots more pictures of the Nicole x Banana in my Journal entries from November 2018-January 2019. Follow the link in my signature.
Next from Nirvana Shop is Original Glue and Candy Kush!
