sorry this is an old thread...but any idea how much you got off of your papaya? i'm in the tropics and i'm growing outdoors, and i'm not sure what it is but this papaya really really does not like the outside. i mean we have around 12/12 all year long, but all the papaya seeds i got from nirvana grew like runts, 9/10 germed, 5/10 seemed to be good seedlings, one got fucked by rain, and 3 wound up males. in the exact same soil mix exact same conditions i grew mandala's safari mix and the papaya girl i have is halfway through flowering, the mandala just showed pistils on 2/2 seeds, the other 16 seeds again got fucked hard by the rain...i'm guessing i got a bad batch of papaya...really tiny plant, hardly a damn foot
