Hey everyone. It's been a few days since my last update. A little bit has changed. I transplanted Mary J into a 3 Gallon pot, where she will stay for the rest of the grow, the 2 Mystery Seeds sprouted, and, when I was at Ocean State Job Lot, they had 42 watt Daylight CFL's there for $2.99!

Sooo I bought 6 of them! lol. I figured that would upgrade my lights quite a bit, since I was using only 32 watt CFL's. This will add an extra 60 watts of light, and some of the lights I was using were 2700K. I still have 2 2700K lights mixed in, since I've heard that it's good to have a couple 2700K bulbs in the mix.

OK. Now for the pics. I took quite a few. I got a few of the roots, a couple comparing the size of the pots, a couple of the Mystery Seed Sprouts, and a couple of the plant in her new home. =)

Here's the Mystery Seeds little home, I had plastic bags over them for a while, but I took it off for the pics, and going to see if it will grow faster without the bag on it.



OK.. Does anyone know what this is...? =( When i was transplanting it, I saw this. It can't be nute burn, because I haven't added any nutes yet. Not sure what else it could be? Maybe I NEED to add nutes....? But where I just transplanted it into Miracle Grow Soil, I think that it has food in it now to last for a little while. Tell me what you guys think it is.

Your WW looks like a STAR on a movie set with all those light around her! :blsmoke:lol

She is gonna take off now in that bigger pot and more light. Did you cut the root spin out?

Man she is fat and bushy, I love it! :hump:

That leaf was prob burned from the nutes in the soil when watering watering. I have had mine do that. It will be fine, no worries man...:peace:

Wow dude! Are plants are about the same size and everything! I agree with SL2 "That leaf was prob burned from the nutes in the soil when watering watering". You can just cut off the bad part, I do. I to also frequent the Ocean State Job Lot, LOL Way cheaper than Ebay for CFL's. I also mix 6500k with 2700k during vegetative growth. PS. I hate Jiffy Pellets.... They hold too much water and drown seeds! I use Rapid Rooters..you can squeeze out any excess water.

lmao.. Yeaaa, she kinda does look like a movie star:blsmoke:.. a very Beautiful movie star. lol. and yeaaa, I'm hoping she takes off! lol. well, i mean KEEPS taking off, lol. she ahsnt really stopped taking off since she sprouted!:bigjoint:

And I'm not exactly sure what u mean by cut the root spin... but i think I did. I saw a video before that said when transplanting, to take a pair a scissors and make 4-6 (small) cuts into the roots. I'm guessin that what you mean. I had to argue with someone before, cuz they said if I did that it would kill my plant...? I was like ummm.. I did it with all my plants soo far.. and they're alive.:cuss: Then he didnt reply... :dunce:

And yeaaaa.. she is VERY bushy! Never had a plant this bushy, adn never saw a plant actually grow lopsided because all the under-growth was so big. lol.:lol: But I dont mind! =) It will have lots of nice bud sites!! :bigjoint:

And ok... I was wondering if it might have just been the nutes in the soil. Well, I'm gonna hold off on giving it nutes for a while.. who knows.. maybe I'll just wait until she starts flowering before I use any nutes...

thats cool. I have someone to compare plants with now. =) lol. Im gonna eventually take a clone or two from her.. i'll just keep them in a lil box and top or fim them, to keep them small and bushy.. even tho it seems like I wont need to.. they stay pretty short and bushy themselves. lol

And yeaa I couldnt beleive how cheap they were!! They had some nice 42 watt ones for flowering too! they were like$5 each tho. =-/ but I'll still buy'em. Its still cheaper than lowes or home depot or wal mart.

And with my last grows I cut off bad lookin parts too.. cuz it makes the plant look so ugly. lol. and I LOVE that site! I want to order some suff from there soon!!

awww.. :-( Good Luck mann!! I got my fingers and toes crossed for ya too!! Wish I could send ya a clone.. but i dont think it would last that long in an envelope. lol But im prayin for ya! if it does sprout, adn ur doin a journal, post ur link on here. I'll follow it. let us know what happens!!

and if your using jiffy pellets.. dont!! lol. i did 3 mystery seeds like that. They cracked open, and I put them in there.. an they didnt sprout. Then I germed 2 more.. they cracked, and i put them into a small pot with soil.. and they sprouted 3 days later....

Thats what I meant about the root spin out. Cut those long white roots. You got it brother...Yours was fine, not much at all, but why not cut while you have it out....Some people dont have a clue about growing anything, he didnt respond because you had him by the "BALLS" lol

Bushy is a good thing in my grow room! lol

I would not starve her. Just go 1/4 or 1/2 strength every other water, see how she does and then increase from there!!!

Glad you are enjoying the journal. You can see the WW’s from the start of flower till, well we aint finished yet! lol I love the WW too. I got 4 more of these beans and then a Dinafem WW I got as a freebee from the Tude… love the Tude…so I am anxious to grow WW again.

gl dude, 3 wks into budding cfl widow like 6mo veg, lol... i dunno.. tryin something diffrent.. it smelled crucial, now that smell is going away.. i just switched into 10-14 and its getting stronger again.. but without rubbing the stems it is a very green smell.. nothing how it used to smell during the veg stages. any idea why? is something wrong?

hmmmm.. that does sound wierd...? I'm no expert tho, but I dont think your doing anything wrong... My plant almost 3 weeks old, but it doesnt have too strong of a smell. Like you said, it's kind of a green smell, especially if you rub the stem/leaves.

I would give it some more time flowering... im suuuure that once u hit like week 5 or 6.. you'll be doing everything you can to try to get rid of the smell... lol Once flowers start forming all over your plant, the smell is gonna be rediculous!!

And wait..... did you say you veged for 6 MONTHS!!:o How fucking big is that thing!!!!????

SL2 - lol. yeaaaa. I could try to talk my "Ole Lady" into doin it. lol .well she's not exactly an ole lady. lol. more like a young lady. lol. She's 18.. but im only 21. soo its all good. :mrgreen: but yeaaa. i was talkin 2 her about it.. but idk.. from what some of her friends said.. its pretty painful!! lol. I know for sure.. I would not let ANYONE near my shit with hot wax! lol.. that would be a big mistake for whoeva tried that:cuss:

And yeaaa. I just finished giving her nutes. I was gonna do 1/4 strength.. but I said fuck it.. and went with 1/2 strength. Soo far she seems to like it. =)

Quick Update

White Widow - Day 19
ok.. I did somethin last night too.. I think some people wills ay I shouldnt have.. but I needed too.. I went to K-Mart.. and bought some MG Moisture Control Soil.. and I went home.. and dug all around the edges.. very gently.. and pulled her out, and put her on a plate. I didnt rip any roots or anything, she came right out, without any resistance.

And then I emptied out the pot, and filled it with the MG Moisture Control Soil.... Idk.. I just didnt wanna leave all the mixed soil in there with her while she flowered... I had MG Seed Starting Soil.. a little bit of MG Moisture Control Soil.. some Schultz Soil in there..and a little bit of some cheap $3 soil I got at Ocean State Job Lot.

I just didnt trust it, I figure the Seed starting soil is high P to promote strong root growth.. but I needed some Nitrogen in there.. and I just feel like it's not good to mix 4 different soils. lol. And I used MG Moisture COntrol before.. and it worked great. =) Sooo I just said fuck it.. I put her in like a day ago.. soo she coulnt have grown that much more roots..

Well that wasnt true. lol. when I pulled her out.. she had LOTS of new roots. Soo not only did the transplant NOT shock her.. she was already growing more roots. =)

Soo yeaaa. I took some pics. I'll try putin them up today.. But she looks happy in the newer soil. =) She's still growing like crazy!! Which is good!

Mystery Seed - Day 5 or 6? I forget. lol
OK. And now for the Mystery Seeds.. Well.. I think one is pretty much dead.. The leaves look like shit. =-/ I left it in thre for now, just to see if maybe it will bounce back. But the other one is doing good. =) Still kinda small, but it's growing.

Sadly, its not gonna get that big before I put it into flowering.. because I am gonna flower Mystery and Mary J at the same time.. soo the lights dont mess up eachothers dark period. But I'm not really growing Mystery to get alot of weed, just pretty much an experiment, to see what kinda weed it is. I still have like 5 more seeds, soo if it's any good, I'll grow a couple more next time around.

Well, I think that's it for updates.. I'll try to get a couple pics up today. Happy Valentine's Day....

Holy Shit! What the fuck are you feeding your plants man!!!??? lol. Seems like when you flower your plants.. they're so small, and then they grow into these frigign monster plants! lol. It's deff a good thing tho.

But yeaa.. like I said, I just dont wanna wait, and try veggin for like 4 weeks or something.. and just have the plant grow out of control. =-/ I'm growing it in my closet, and soo I have somewhat of a limit for space. not much tho, I mean as far as height, it could grow like 5 ft, and I'd still had about 1ft left for the lights, but width wise, I probly only have a couple ft...

I'm just more or less worried about the lighting... I dont want it to get too big and not be able to give it enough light.. like yeaa its good to have your plant grow big.. but if you dont have enough light on it.. the buds wont grow.. and it will almost be a waste of time tryna grow it.

Soo yea, I will most likely flower it on tuesday, and take 1 or 2 clones off it.. maybe just one, and eventually take clones from that clone.. I have a cardboard box I used to grow my other plants in.. soo its already got shiny material all on the inside.. and has hold at the top for lights, and places for fans to go, and a little ghetto door I made to be able to get in to water it and stuff. lol. When i take the clone.. I will take pics of the box for ya.. I'll probly top the clone too, soo that it grow sideway rather than upwards, and I will LST it if I have to.

Cant wait to start Flowering tho!!!! =-D

Ok. Heres a few pics of Mary J, and a couple of the Mystery Seed, a.k.a. "Mystery" is gonna her her name. ( hoping its a "her" ) She's a slow grower though. =( Bot oo well, I'm gonna flower her when I flower Mary J. I just want to see what the bud from the "Mystery Seed" is like. I have like 5 more seeds, soo if it's good I'm gonna grow a couple next time around.

miracle grow potting soil has time release fertilizer in it and it can cause nute burn in plants that is why you had a yellowing leaf on your WW earlier in the thread and if you go to a reflective white surface instead of the tinfoil you will get better light coverage on your plants also .. tinfoil is renowned for causing hot spots on plants .. right now with it being short its not to bad but when she gets bigger it will affect her more so be careful ... otherwise you got a killer little baby going there cant wait to see how she comes out ... subscribed and +rep if it will let me do it ..

yeaaaa. that must be what is is. That sux. but oo well. It's not enough to ruin the plant. Sooo it's all good.

And yeaa the stuff I'm using isn't tinfoil... It's pretty much a cheaper version of mylar. I got it at the Dollar Store. It's a "Tissue Paper", but it's really reflective. I tried using tinfoil my 1st time growing, but stoped using it once I found out it causes hot spots. But thanks for looking out.

And yeaa, I'm deff happy with her so far. I'm going to flower her on tuesday, since she is growing so fast as it is, I feel llike she will grow A LOT during flowering, and I dont want her to be too big. 1-2 ft. is good for me. Just basically want some bomb weed for me and my girl.

After i see how this plant does flowering at 3 weeks, I will decide whether to flower the clones I'm gonna take at 3 weeks too, or if I should do it later.

Thanks for taggin along, cant wait till she starts to flower!! I'm gonna have lots and lots of pictures!!
