Nirvana's Master Kush - Anyone Else Have a Giant? Pictures!

So I figured I'd try this strain cuz Nirvana had it stated as a medium sized plant and somewhere on Attitude Seedbank I saw it finished around 16-18". I vegged it under cfls, and the plant didn't stretch at all. It was set to flower under a 600w HPS. My ballast blew a gasket last week, waiting for the new one to arrive, hence the cfl's for now, but they stretched way before cfls were in the picture. These two plants have stretched over 200%!!! My tent is 6 ft. tall, and I've had to chain these to bend them to fit. I was just wondering if anyone else out there has seen this with this strain??? Thanks!

That's kind of what you're going to get with Nirvana seeds. There is a lot of variation within Nirvana lines and that's why they're cheap. They take well known variety's and cross em' out and label them with the original name.

That's what I figured. I am wondering if this strain is even Master Kush, lol. The two plants have totally taken over the space and have 100% sativa traits. I'm not complaining, the grow is going well and it isn't putting off any odor yet, so as far as im concerned it doesn't get easier than that.

what do you mean it didnt stretch? look at space between nodes looks stretched to me.

He was saying that the one he saw that got him to order them didn't stretch not his plants.

It didn't stretch at all during veg. It stayed short and squat. Then in flower, as stated in my first post it stretched over 200%. I am used to plants doubling in height during flower, no big deal, so I set this to flower when it was only about 10 or so inches, it has quadrupled + in height in the flowering stage alone. I was just saying that surprised me, I've never had a strain stretch so much once set to flower.

Nirvana sent me 30 mk by mistake for my frist order I grew one out while I waited for my correct seeds mine did the same and looked great but the high sucked and the flavor is blah I still have 29 of these left after growing nirvana white widow blue mystic(best one from nirvana that I have tryed) and master kush I now order fro
the tude ATM I have nothing but tga strains growing MUCH Better genetcs you do get what you pay for

Oh I totally agree, I figured for the price and my 'education level on growing' I'd try them and see. I have a strain that I've been growing for a year that's amazing, a little too potent sometimes, which is why I thought I'd switch up a little. But... now as I've grown some other stuff out, I think I'll splurge for something a little more stable. Which TGA strains do you like? I'm really looking for a daytime/social upppy effect. I've got some Short Stuff Russian Rocket Fuel, (had to try an auto), a few Kush strains from TH, and some Haze strains from Seedsman that I'll try after I get some room. I don't like having too much going on at once, and really, one grow for us really lasts a LONG time.

ATM i only have jtr and dp going those are all I have tryed I ordered some aos on 420 that will be used for next medi op but out of the 2 I think dp is a great all day smoke stony as he'll tasty and a very uplifting high jillybean might be a good one for alway too but never tryed it
