My bad I must have missed it!!!!

Not really a panel per say, more like light bars with good diodes and drivers. About $70 per 6000 lumens and 52W as a start. Cree 3050's.

I am trying to use aluminum as a heatsink with 1 active fan per diode but then bend the aluminum to also provide a reflector as well as a heat sink.

How long till harvest you think? I see some yellowing leaves so my guess is not more than one week from now!! ;-)

Hey Cooldude!! Happy new year! The website says it's a 9-11 weeker, but obviously that's not the case. I'm hoping that it will only be another week. In all likelihood I'm probably looking at another 2 weeks. I've been keeping a close eye on the trichs and they are pretty even cloudy to clear, the calyxes still haven't blown up yet either. Pray to the ganja gods with me to make this plant finish in 1 week!

I hear ya mad, I think mine is going to have another week from this Friday. Tricomes are all cloudy but no amber, and I am still getting new growth.

I have had to procure bud recently and it's something I like to do. I like to keep it to what I'm growing and that's it...your baby is looking good though man!

No.......hell to the naw, lol....I wouldn't be using my lightbulbs still :-P

but I will, cost balanced with efficiency. It would be nice to rock Nichia's but those Cree's are very efficient, I have most of the heat sink crap, just waiting for a little dough to buy, 2-3x [CXA3050's.]

I hate lumens, but as a small comparison, my bulbs in my largest are rated @ 101 watts and 8k lumens.
Using two of the 3050's[1x 3000k and 1x 4000k] equals 104 watts and 12k lumens @test current.
That's about $140.
That was about the cost of my damn bulbs and fixtures etc.


Hans is a cool panel [New A51 85 watt panel is coming this year too] but @ $250+ and 65-85 watts for those Han's panels, this might be worth it, I don't know DIY time.

I like led, just need some loot. :peace:

Sad Update. Hey guys. So I had a really bad leak in my apartment bathroom. So bad that the ceiling came down. I thought I was going to have to get emergency assistance (PD,FD), so I had to chop the plant down. It was less then a week early, but on some of the buds, it's noticeable. I'm hoping by the time that the workers get in to fix the problem, the weed will have dried and I'll be in the stages of curing her.

On a happier note, I hit my goal and then some. I got 480 grams wet, which, if this dries like my last bud, will be about a quarter of the actual weight or 4.3 ozs.

I scraped the scissors and smoked the hash, and wow...just wow. Annihilated for a couple hours. Haven't been that high for that long in a while now. I'm super stoked to be able to start smoking it. The buds have a wonderfully light smell of honeysuckles. Hopefully that will come out more in the cure.

Anyhoo, it might be awhile until I grow again. I'm not sure how much longer I will even be in this apartment because of everything. I hope ya'll enjoyed following along.

Thanks cooldude! I smoked some after I oven dried it and wowooweewoo. I have never felt so energized and clear headed. I just want to talk all night and giggle. No doubt, top 3 strains I've ever smoked.

Do you mean to keep it in total darkness for 24 hours? I had the lights set to 12 hours on 12 off.

No I mean give it less then 12 hours, like 11-13 or 10-14. This will push the plant to finish sooner then 12-12.

Oh and I wish to grow raspberry cough next. Let me know how the smoke/high is :)

The smoke uncured is a little harsh, bit the flavor mild almost sweet. The high is amazing. Like that energizing high I used to get when I was first smoked weed. You feel it in your face and head and just can't stop smiling. I loooove it. Definitely growing again. I'm going to make a smoke report in a week or so. Definitely worth it. High quality.

After about 3 weeks of cure the smoke had smoothed considerably. It grinds much nicer. It is so sticky though. It's annoying to do by hand, and my grinder gets clogged really quick. Some of the buds on this grow are very dense too. I didn't get that on my last two grows. If I could have left it another week or so the whole plant woulda been like that.

I have some green dragon I made with it and it's lasted me over 3 weeks. Great uppy high that last about 4-6 hours. So heady and clear, with a body high that's fluffy and not heavy. Definitely will grow again. Going to try mainlining to keep it under control.

I'm debating on high wattage LED panel, but I don't have the money right now to even do it. Anyway thank you everyone that was watching...if you want a more detailed smoke report hop over to the smoke report sections. I'm making a post now.

in future try giving them 48 hours of darkness before chopping next time you grow.

also unless yoru sure you can break into mainlining you can do [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]scrog and lst together since both methods are great if your limited on height space.[/FONT]scrog and LST together. glad you managed a good harvest, even threw the adventures.

Hans panel?? or Area 51 "supposedly" has a new 80w. Maybe one of those would be better to start, The hans @ 65w is supposed to match a 250watt HPS.....and they make an 80w now too....
