Hello RIU,i have a sativa dom nepalese laandrace growing on my garden.3 week earlier i added 2 tbs of blood meal and some flowering nutes and instead of flowering it's just streatching and developing more leaves.what i know, sativa dom flowers not only due to photo-period but also according to the availability to nitrogen in the soil.having nitrogen in its soil the biological defence of the plant triggers it to vegitate so that it can thrive till coming fall.here in nepal there is no frost.so plants can live till whole winter and then start to flower in spring.for ex-a plant grown in the hill where it has limited space to grow will remain really short according to avaibility of nutrients in the surrounding and also not to misuse its limited source of water.but the same strain grown in plains where the vegitation thrives, the same plant shoots its roots deep and can reach 5 to 6 feet tall.i think biological defence of my plant was telling itself,"hey since there is nitrogen in the soil why don't i live till next spring".i'd love you opinion on this.
