I was curious if anyone knew where to get a good nitrous tank, like medical grade? I found one site www.bestwhip.com but I don't know if it's good or not.....any advice?

go on ebay or something like that you can by the mini ones its easier than a medical size one .. plus its prolly really illegal to get one of those hahaha just take the little ones

There shouldn't be too too much of a difference between good food grade & medical grade. As long as you aren't buying cheap ass nitrous it should be pretty clean.

sure sure.. I mean cleaner is synonymous with better, but I am sure settling for a tank of food grade (if you can find one) is more than sufficient. Just stay away from the automotive nitrous... bad news.

you can't just get med grade no2. It takes a script. That a fed law. I have never seen a food grade that could be refilled.

I'm not too sure about that one... when you go to buy nitrous just put "usp" before or afterhand, I don't see a law that says you can't use a more clean charger gas for gourmet whipped cream ;-)

If the lable has usp on it you need a script to buy it. any no2 sold to the public has sulfur added. Big joke in the comp. gas biz. when the dead came to town no2 theft went up by 300%. As a mater of fact I don't think I ever saw any go to a person allways a doc office hospital or vet.

Matter of fact.. Sigma has "Nitrous Oxide 99%" (Dinitrogen monoxide) for sale.. so I quite frankly do not give a fuck if it says USP or not, it is USP grade nitrous.

lol Hard to say I don't know much about non usp. We only filled usp and and nitro boot for cars. Never did anything with food grade. I tried to search sigma to see what you were looking at. But did not find it. we were a chem supply also but only delt with gasses and cryo liquids. I had enough to deal with to stay in compiance with FDA and DOT rules and regs.
