NL 1st Indoor Grow

imo opinion I think the 1000 will produce more heat then the little ac can cool... the amount of heat that comes off those bulbs is amazing .. It will heat a whole room quickly.. need to get the heat out of the grow area and things will be much better... plus ac is cheaper initially.. but whats the cost of running it everytime your lights on .. as opposed to a good 6 inch inline fan and vented hood .. that cost more initially but nearly nothing to run. A window ac will draw 10x more electricity then a inline fan. The first night I put my 1000 in my tent.. I didnt have a inline fan yet.. and I just had the central ac going with all vents closed except the grow room vent.. The temps still got into the 80's .. and thats a 4 ton unit (48,000) BTU's. And aside from all of this .. another benifit is .. you can get the light so much closer when your running a vented hood. I found alot of my stuff used on craigslist for cheap.. I got one of my 1000 kits with a 6 inch yield master hood( not the greatest but not bad) for $100 bucks Also had a Eye Hortilux bulb in it. There's deals out there. Good luck bro.. Looking good!!!

Thanks man, I have really be tossing the idea around. The only benefit to cooling the bulb.. Not having to worry about it later. Sometimes the cheap option isnt best. I'll keep the veg going for a while. They need to get bigger anyway.
