First grow
Northern Lights x Big Bud Auto , LST,Soil grow
started with 23w CFL now at 180w CFL (40w 6500k, 140w 2700K) all with reflectors and mylar
20/4 Cycle

Its Day 48 from seed
Its suppose to take 63-70 days from seed i think.The Trics looks a little amber so i am confused

Are these ready? Will they be done anytime soon ?

I will wait for another 3 weeks. Unfortunately i will not be able to wait more as i have to travel.

The leaves have these strange spots. Is this sign of nitrogen leaching for buds.
Is it normal or am i doing anything wrong?

They look to be getting phosphorous deficient... Also seems they are curling upwards which I think means too hot?

I am using NPK 10 20 10 once a week. I water twice a week.
40w*2 and 23w*4 CFL. The CFL's are about 1 inches away. I switch off fan sometimes. I will keep the fan always on now. I will post more pics on Thursday it will be 8 weeks.

This is now 18 inches * 18 inches wide end to end
About 14 tops , many more hidden. Its 8 weeks so 56 days

Its been 9 weeks, planning to harvest in 7-8 days. I thought hairs are tricromes, but i finally found tiny tricromes with 60x.
Are the attached tricromes cloudy or transparent? I want to harvest when they are 1/2 amber
I found it was a little tough to find tricromes with a 60x. I wish i had 100x

Also i saw some weird sack below a lower bud. Not sure what it is..

I am not sure but it looks like 10%-20% Amber
Should i give it another week

Good job Robin. You can prepare to harvest at your leisure.

I would recommend going to photoperiod plants for your next grows.
Photoperiod will give you more yield and higher quality buds.

Thanks Mr Ganja, the trichomes still look a little milky, I will harvest them this weekend. I see the some shades of purple around the bud.

I will get photoperiod plants next time.
I was thinking photo period uses only 12 hrs light and autoflower can flower with 20hrs, so may be autoflower can produce more bud due to extra hours.

The plant smells really nice, its a little skunky and sweet/citric aroma, I wish i could buy this aroma in a room freshner can.
I do not have a carbon filter and this has smell in all my house for the last 3-4 weeks. I got Northern lights thinking that it will not smell that bad and i could do without a carbon filter. bad idea

you're getting really close. i was going to ask about the odor during the grow and your last post answered it. i've grown several NL and most are really low odor. good job. don't forget to give us a smoke report. GL

Its Day 73 and i wanted to get your opinion. Are they are ready for harvest?
I am looking for 50 amber 50 cloudy but i still see 10-20% amber only. I am not sure :(
