No.3 Grow- Record Player Stealth Cab : Nirvana PPP

I'm back!

With my new living arrangements I'm having to be creative to keep growing. So I took an old record player cabinet and sectioned off half of it. Removed the speakers and the radio as well as the record player. Added some wood to the back, front, and sides to completely contain it.

2 Exhaust and 1 Intake Fan (47 CFM each at highest setting, but I keep them on low to keep it quiet!)
125 Watt CFL with Reflective Hood

I am growing Nirvanas Pure Power Plant strain! Also known as PPP.

I'm doing something I've never really done before. Skipping the vegetative stage. Meaning the only light cycle this plant will ever see is 12/12.
I'm also keeping it in the small pot its starting off in.
I plan on doing some LST to keep the little guy in line.
As you can see, I have VERY limited space. I would much rather be growing the Blue Mystic I am familiar with, because I know I could limit its size.
This is my first time messing with PPP.

I will have some photos of the cabinet as well as the plant tomorrow!

Thanks! I'm just glad I've gotten away from using duct tape, as great as it is it looks horrible.

My sprout is coming along nicely, being on 12/12 since germination and I'm getting very little stretching(which is awesome)

I've taken a few photos, but can't upload them just yet!

Finally managed to get these photos up, lost the cord I use for uploading photos, so had to wait on a new on.

As you can see, its a little rough looking. (Like all my grows) But I had fun throwing it together.

I know I have been slacking on the photos, and I will continue to do so until I get some decent plant porn for ya.

Plant is moving along nicely. I was reading up on F.I.M. and decided to give it a try, I see the new shoots coming through now so I'm excited to see what I get.

I'm also doing some LST in a non-traditional way with toothpicks (I bet a few of you expect something like this from me)

So far my miracle grow organic soil has been working out nicely. I wouldnt recommend it for indoor grows, but Im used to the sort of nutrients it puts out so I stick with it. As far as fertilizer goes, I plan on doing a bit of fertilization during the flowering period using Fox Farms tiger bloom, again I used it in previous grows so I know how to properly feed a plant with it. (Although this is my first time with PPP and I have heard different strains use different nutrients) I would prefer to use vegan fertilizer, but not til my Fox Farms runs out XD......

Still no smell from this little guy. I plan on using ONA Blocks when it gets stinky. Should just need 1.

And again, I'm using a 125watt CFL with a reflective hood. And I have been on 12/12 lighting since seed.

Hey man I like the record player cabinet. Very inventive and looks to be about the same size as my dresser. Are you going to paint or Mylar the inside? How long did it take you to get the PPP seed? I'm also doing a grow from nirvana seed and I was impressed with how fast it got here. I'll be watching this one to see how some other nirvana strains turn out.

Not planning on using it for growing too much. If anything I will mylar the interior but I dont see it as a need, in such a small scale grow my output is trash anyway and its more of a passion grow.

The delivery was pretty fast if I remember, after placing the order I got it in 11 days. Unless you mean how long did it take the seed to break the surface of my soil pod, that was 3 days. If I can remember I will take another photo of my plant today, Im assuming the top has exploded since yesterday. :3

Yeah I'm at school today and can't wait to get home and check on my plants. It's crazy how fast these things grow. I've checked them like 30 times the past 2 days, this shit is addicting..

I have some good news and some bad news.

Good:
Plant is doing fine, and starting to grow at an increased rate (establish roots, more leaves)

Bad:
The F.I.M. procedure was a complete miss.

Upcoming: Going to start two more seeds, because its looking like I can easily grow a sativa so long as I do a bit of LSTing in my cab. I am also going to set some standards for my grows from this point on. Not always easy to clean my cab out because of stealth measures and my work schedule/plant lighting schedule.
I need to keep my cab squeaky clean to keep my plant safe from bugs and mold!

This cab is as stealth as stealth can get!

I'm not going too hardcore on the LSTing. To be honest I am a bit surprised it hasn't shown sex yet, but again my first time with PPP.
Damn its looking healthy though. Except for those mutated leaves I caused with my failed FIM.

Slight odor emerging today. Plant like. Surprisingly potent and very sudden. Time to snag an ona block~

Woah guys! I have some really interesting growth going on right now. Take a look at my photo above, it looks like one leaf has 7 tips, ontop. Now those 2 extra tips are acting like a plant top. Super weird, maybe the fimming did grant enough of a hormone release for a second top?

I took some photos, but before I could get the right angle my camera died and it became plants rest cycle. Will upload them if I find the time!

I know im slacking on the photos guys, but holy shit. Last night was a turning point. Plant completely stinks up the cabinet, and my room, and leaking into the hallway. Time to open my ona blocker XD! Starting to see pistils as well.
