I am 19 days into flowering and i still have no bud formation " that i can tell of " i got calyx and pistils all over but at the top of the plants i cant tell if its new leaf growth or buds forming? Ill post pics in about 20mins

what lights are you using.. so you're in 19 days into 12/12 .. are you sure your grow area is compeltely dark without any light coming in at all?

sometimes if there is light leakage it will stop it from flowering..


My plants are 3 weeks into flowring and they just started growing bud leaves.

do you know if you have a sativa?

You are in the stretch period of flower, it lasts bout 3-5 weeks. Your plants are currently making themselves as big as possible for when the bud formation period really starts up. be patient

I also find that if you are running fem seeds that they show buds a little faster than reg seeds. Or maybe it just seems that way cuz I am waiting on determining the sex of the plants with reg seeds lol. What strain is it? Sativa/Indica? That will also play a big roll.

Looking good. they will be budding soon. I would like to try that strain, let us know how it comes out.

Tops generally form first, or more like the top third of the plant. The lower 2/3 follows just by a few days at most............... Closer to the light = faster more mature growth. When you harvest, just chop the top half of the plant off, and let the bottom half sit for a few more days. Free weight. Yay.
