Haven’t used Calmag in years.
If you’re using salts buy one that has Ca and Mg in it already.
If you’re using soil, there are plenty of amendments.

mix up, loads of cheap dry plant food, sand, and perlite in my reused soil 60%(from my last crop) and add 40% new cheap compost from my local garden center), mix it up and pot up a week before flower.
Flowering them off in 29ltr pots, veg them in 7.5ltr pots

Epsom salt is the Mag in Cal Mag, dude.

Its a good source of Mg but its not the Mag part of CalMag
Maybe for other brands, but Epsom is not an ingredient in GH Calmagic
It uses Magnesium Nitrate for the Mg

In each 29ltr pot there is:
sulphate of potash 2tsp
seaweed meal 2tbsp
chicken manure 3tbsp
fish blood and bone 2tbsp
Bonemeal 2tbsp
about 3ltrs of perlite and 2ltrs of sharp sand.

but A strong healthy plant with a well-established root mass in a 7.5ltr pot can handle the hot soil mix.
The same soil mix could kill my plants in early veg.

Calcium Nitrate plus Epsom is also Cal Mag. The point is you said you weren't using CalMag, but you are using half of it.

I don't add CalMag or Epsom to my normal feed.
Just Jacks 5/12/26 and Calcium nitrate. The blend contains more than enough Ca and Mg.
