seriously, a 26% response rate to an online email survey.

are you guys fucking stupid, or are you guys just trying to prove how stupid you are?

As I read this story, it struck me, it is a poll of more than 1,800 atmospheric scientists....

http://www.forbes.com/sites/jamestaylor/2013/11/20/the-latest-meteorologist-survey-destroys-the-global-warming-climate-consensus/

And they can not come to a consensus.... 48 % believe not real or not man made, and 52 % Yes it's real....

Considering just this study, I'd have to say.... WTF, who knows for sure?
I would be willing to bet that 1,700 of those 1,800 "scientists" are just mediocre idiots that sat through enough college classes to get a degree. The job title of "scientist" has to be the single most abused misnomer of the post-WWII era...

and let's not forget that 5400 of them didn't even bother to respond.

this is not even a scientific poll in any way, shape or form.

the same idiots who mistake this kind of nonsense for science are the same people who are convinced that thousands of scientists across the world plot in unison to advance a hoax over the course of decades only to be stopped in their tracks by morons like OP who don't even know what counts as a scientific poll.

If you don't believe in Global Warming, then Al Gore can prove scientists are wrong by saying the word "bullshit"

There is no valid information, in science, only valid data and invalid data.
Ok
The IPCC has disclosed that the data has been altered to benefit those who believe in global warming.
No
The ultimate problem and one that no scientist can solve at this point is that we lack enough data to make an informed decision on mankind's impact on the natural warming and cooling of the globe.
We know plenty already to make that decision

What I can say simply from a common sense aspect is the CO2 correlation is simply bullshit. CO2 has been rising steadily and the temperature has remained the same over a decade. In addition to the fact that CO2 is what plants use and more CO2 causes more plant growth causes CO2 decrease. Every seasoned grower knows by comparative data that adding CO2 to the grow room atmosphere when done properly yields bigger plants and more growth.
Bolded the part where your argument fails how do you make sure it's done properly on a global scale?

Why are the plants not using excess CO2 already?
What we need to do is learn to adapt to the changing climates of the world because what we do know from the geological data is that the earth goes through heating and cooling cycles with or without us.
Yawn nothing there precludes human involvement now does it?

I'm suspicious as to the reporting of the OP

Yes: Mostly humanYes: Equally human and natural
Yes: Mostly natural
Yes: Insufficient evidence [to determine cause]
Yes: Don’t know cause
Don’t know if global warming is happening
Global warming is not happening
Just 52 percent of survey respondents answered Yes: Mostly human. The other 48 percent either questioned whether global warming is happening or would not ascribe human activity as the primary cause.

Now you have 48% spread over the 6 remaining answers (which includes a human+natural cause) and the OP' s author lumps them all in together...

The computer I'm using at the moment doesn't seem to want to open the PDF to find relevant data

Could someone post it here

In fact here in Canada a lot of the enviromental problems are readily being solved. For example we use much cleaner fuels than we did even twenty years ago. we have shut down most of our nucleur reactors and now there are many more salmon and trout and animals etc returning to these regions where these reactors once operated. Cities now encourage trees within city limits. The students from the University of Victoria have stopped poisoning the Quebecers sapplings with to much fertilizer. Beats me why they bring bus loads of frenchman here to the rockies to plant trees. Sure now that every tree in the country has been cut, mostly with British influance; someone says,"hey, maybe we better plant some trees. Ok now we have trees planted along every roadway giving the impression there are trees. But walk through it and you see clearcut and wasteland. Since kids stopped getting BB guns for presents the bird population has returned to healthy numbers. We have learned not to pipe raw sewage into our rivers and lakes. Yes man has definately got a way of destroying and taking it all for granted.

When it became widely known that the data supporting global warming theories had been falsified, that "scientists" in their "consensus" were misquoted and mostly not even familiar with the field, and the dire predictions didn't occur as was predicted, the faithful claimed it was all lies. You have to realize this is a religion to these people. No amount of logic or evidence will sway them.

I do treat my Gas man, and meter reader like the Johovas Witness...
....
Personally, I find the logic and agreement on the 'Data' bendable to fit those that subscribe to the fear mongering wolf criers: "The hot sky is falling"
And... I also find it laughable when someone has their head in sand... and doesn't believe any thing remotely related to it might be getting warmer around the globe...

Both sides fringe believers are idiots, and well, the lunatic fringe usually rules...history shows us that....

I believe the earth [mostly in it's populated areas] is getting much warmer [so people in populated areas are causing localized warming...]
I also believe that, humans, are not cause of the rise of the overall temp increase on earth.... My ego, [humans/us included] just will not allow me to be sold the idea of 'Global Warming' caused by me a human... I also truly believe that the right to believe in global warming [caused by humans] is your right to be wrong...You can believe any way you like, we live in a free society [some what free]....

Arguing about something that can not be proven either way...is "Idiotic"
.....I think, you just want to argue....

So why are YOU here? And your right to be wrong doesn't imply a right to force your belief on others.

LOL kids with BB guns never made a dent in bird populations.

you claiming they're "Obama's windmills" is where you went wrong. You could've used a great talking point regarding "green" energy vs wildlife conservation, but you went the silly partisan route instead. And you wonder why no one takes republicans seriously
