Either way, if you manage using VPD and you have to keep your flower room temps at either 59F or 95F, your boat will sink :)
this plant has adapted to the most humid jungles near the equator to the highest adn driest mountains of Nepal.

oh shit, for some reason i was thinking you were up in the deserts of Cali. at least the smog should get better with less traffic, rigt?
You are exactly right. I'm in Lancaster, the Mojave desert, north Los Angeles county. It's not downtown thank god but we have a robust defense industry out here that's all necessary so there's little staying home unlike downtown that shuttered courts etc.... The streets are still fairly crowded.

I refuse to take lessons from anyone that knows less than me when it comes to indoor gardening in a rdwc photo period perpetual grow.

The best I can offer is giving you the satisfaction in knowing you guys were right and I was wrong. It will take a bit of time though as a garden just doesn't go to hell over night but with everything you guys said I'm sure it won't take long to start showing up.

I'll be sure to post regular updates...Enjoy :)

That's one of the most closed-minded and egotistical things I've heard around here. When you say "knows less", does that mean "doesn't agree fully with my crazy beliefs that I learned on Youtube"?

The best I can offer is giving you the satisfaction in knowing you guys were right and I was wrong.
How generous of you.

Don't worry...It's only Day 28 of flower for me....still 50+ days where you guys will see how right you were....It will be long and painful for me.

Exactly!!! He's going to see how right he is...I promise to do daily up dates so he can see how right he was.
Yes do that your plants look very healthy and very stretched out for light, how much light do you run at the canopy tops there? is this all the same strain?

It proves the Mr.Head will be right that this garden will go to shit. I'm just putting up as evidence my garden was healthy.

So one of the reasons people “train” or “prune” or “trim” or “defoliate” is to try to maximise the light being used.

Due to the inverse square law of artificial lighting.

That’s why most people will prune or train to spread out their canopy so that there are more tops basking in the sweet spot of the light.

popcorn or “larf” buds that I’ve heard them called are just that. Lower growth that hasn’t been making use of the full amount of light being delivered.

it’s all preference! If you prefer to grow a plant without training or pruning etc and you’re using a 1000w HPS you’ve got almost 4ft if penetration power from your light so it’s not an issue.

if you use a 600w you get about 3ft of penetration

400w 2ft Of penetration.

the idea being is that if you have plant material outside of this lighting penetration it won’t amount to high quality yield.

I use a 400w.

I strip off plant material down below the power of my light.

@GC_Mospeada I’m not trying to invoke an argument with you By making these comments. I’m merely stating lighting penetration distances and the reason why I strip some of the plant material below the optimum penetration.
