No flowers, stuck in vege

Okay so im pretty sure im still stuck in vege, Ive obviously changed my light schedule but not much if any progress is happening.

Its been on 12/12 for a month now, I think its a light leak still but Id like confirmation.

All I can see is the stems are growing taller, this plants almost to tall for my grow space now and I think im going to have to invest in a tent to make absolute certain that there are no light leaks.

Anyway, will this plant flower if I do invest in a tent or is it a lost cause?

The lower branches are slowly developing flowers, the top of the plant has no flower structure at all, only a few spaced out pistils.

It IS flowering. New to this? If anything it needs most is way more light.

it probably has a long flowering period i was told my cottonkandy kush need 10+ weeks of flowering to fully mature

It is a sativa heavy plant from the looks so your looking at 12 weeks total flower. What watt light are you using? Is it right spectrum ie hps or red? Did you switch the nutes over to flower blend since you have to change the feeding mix to get the plant to react quicker as when in flower you cut nitrogen almost completely to induce.

Yeah im very new to this. Sigh I dont have access to more light, my light is a 400 watt halide tube, I would have to spend $200 roughly if I wanted more light.
What does the lack of light mean in the long run? Smaller buds?

When I see pictures of other peoples transitions from vege to flower, I see within 2-4 weeks the main cola and the other buds have way more formation than mine does currently so thats why I ask I guess.

Im using ' Aunty Janes Fruit and Flower " every 3-4 days, watering everyday approx 1.5 litres then leaving to dry out.

Light is a 400 W halide but with no reflector/shade ontop so I am loosing considerable penetrating power, is it worth buying a tent for that plant?

At least a reflector. A cheap parabolic is better than nothing.

YES get a tent.. It seems that's the answer you want.. If you don't go with a tent just keep the door shut when the lights are off and keep on doin 12/12 that's all u can do man goodluck
