i just watched a youtube video and this guy had 4 plants with 12 pounds and he said the main thing is nutrients, even told which kind of nutrients to use. Im not arguing or being stuborn but if i know its possible why not speak my mind, I said I will increase to a stronger and better light plus i have an entire master bedroom for this with a 7 ft cieling. I NEVER CLAIMED TO BE A PROFESSIONAL , but dont try to insult my intelligence as if it is really impossible people i mean really come on. I have been reading the comments and I see what I have to do now.

not going to happen to pull 20 pounds you are going to need 10000 watts in lighting, co2, controllers, big a/c, some serious odour control, and hours a day of your time, and if you're hand watering even more time,
not to mention thousands of dollars in nutes, you'll need well over $20k, $2000 is not going to cut it,

not to mention the kind of power it will take to run that gear,

start with a a couple lights, a/c, a dehum, some co2 and a controller, get that dialed in,


and back to your seeds, are the feminized, cause you are going to have males to deal with

Its not about nutrients its about lumens per square foot guy.
Post a link to that video...let me take a wild guess and say the key to their so-called success is Advanced Nutrients. Fall into this one and not only will you still be a newbie wondering how in the hell you never even came close to your goal, but a broke newbie at that.

LMFAO! believe me if it was that easy everyone would be growing 2lb plants inside...more research is needed or you'll go broke just buying nutes...and the same nutes you could find in dyna grow, you just have to buy more products from Advanced to get the same thing, but good luck.

THANK YOU FOR ALL THE HELP BUT I BELIEVE I WILL BE PRETTY SUCCESSFUL IN MY PROJECT AND WHEN THEY BEGAN TO FLOWER I WILL UPLOAD PICTURES. ALL MY SEEDS ARE FEMINIZED(THATS TO THE GUY WHO ASKED :)) and I HAVE SEEN WITH MY OWN EYES THATS ITS POSSIBLE,JUST GO ON YOUTUBE AND TYPE IN ...... HOW TO GROW A POUND OF MARIJUANA and there you will see, it should be the first video and theres even another after you click on that. I WILL COMPLETE MY MISSION, JUST THINK ABOUT IT, ITS A TREE IT CAN GROW AS BIG AS YOU LET IT THERES NOT A LIMIT ON WHAT IT CAN PRODUCE.

Not with cfls you need to hang vertical bulbs HIDs 1000watters a bunch of them You need ballasts, AC its a big investment and you may get 3to5oz indoors. If you grow out doors greenhouse style and nobody can see in, you can get a pound per plant. Ive never seen it myself. You truly have to be a master and have the space.

"Swirl Lights" don't grow pounds dude, lol.

He's not listening, let him learn the way of trial and error. Maybe after enough of the latter, he will listen.

Well both indoor and outdoor growing are risky if you are in a state that it is illegal. Outdoor growing you can hide your plants and only come back when absolutely needed until they are done. Inside you are going to need a place to grow, high watt lights, an A/C unit, fans, possibly a heater (depending on where your live) which is all going to bump your electric up. You have to make sure you exhaust your heat correctly or set your grow up correctly the law can catch you with infrared cameras or light leaks. Just be safe. Make sure your room is put together to be efficient and light tight and whatever you do don't let people know. Protect yourself and keep learning.

the HID lights you should be able to find at a Hydroponics store...ppl sell them on craigslist all the time, online stores, etc. Just depends on the risk you are willing to take and your preference.
