No sex yet?

This is my first grow in about 10 years. The plants have been 12/12 under a 400 watt hps for 8 days now. The have had a growth spurt but still are not showing sex yet. I think I remember my plants in the past showing their sex by now. What gives?

Temps have been no higher than 82f and no lower than 67 f any time in their lives.

I have this exact same problem, except i'm on day 11 of flowering. They grey like monsters, but no pre-flowers or anything. They vegged for 4 weeks.

some strains take up to three weeks to show thier sex,so patients is key just have a good look every day due to males have a tendencie to show thier sex first . Peace

i did 2 month veg on my with fluro then switched to 250w hps with 2 4ft fluro with warm and cool combo for side lighting and they showed in 11 days when i switched to 12/12 just be patient. What strain are you using??

Ive been looking them over each morning when the lights kick on. The strains are m39, big bud and a few mystery indicas. So far under a jewelers loop 2 look like they may be males but it is so tiny I cant say for sure.
