Hi,
Don't want to post this in grow set-up whatever as this is mainly for organic systems but whatever if you must move it.
So it will work weather you mix up all your dry nutes and just want a no worry watering system. And it will work if you want to use a hydro nutes mixed into it to feed/water in such as coco/hydroton ect.
Anyway.
1. Buy a storage tote plastic ones from anywhere you feel like. The bigger the tote the less you will have to fill it up but the larger the storage tote the longer it will take to fill up.
2. Buy a submersible pump. Doesn't really matter what size I use the 264 gph one. You can put multiple pumps in your rez without a problem I do it and it works fine. http://www.igrowhydro.com/detail.aspx?ID=4464
3. Buy some 1/2 inch hydroponic quality tubing. Don't buy the stiff tubing but I guess it might work I don't know whatever you feel like I guess.
http://www.dripirrigation.com/drip_irrigation_info.php?cPath=36&products_id=260 This isn't what I use but I can't find where I got mine from?
4. Buy some 1/4 inch tubing. Such as http://www.dripirrigation.com/drip_irrigation_info.php?cPath=36&products_id=1248
5. Buy the drip assembly. http://www.dripirrigation.com/drip_irrigation_info.php?cPath=41&products_id=545
6. Buy 12 of these for every assembly you buy. You will need one pump also for every assembly you buy. If you want to water 24 plants buy 2 pumps and 2 assemblies. But buy a couple extra pumps for back up. http://www.dripirrigation.com/drip_irrigation_info.php?cPath=41_76&products_id=1160
7. Buy some of these to cap off lines your not using. If you want to only use a couple of them you can cap off lines not in use. Not really needed though as the drippers which are the only ones that I have found to work with this set-up out of trying 2 other different kinds that did not work or put out too much water (no control) make it so you can stop water and increase. http://www.dripirrigation.com/drip_irrigation_info.php?cPath=41_76&products_id=550
8. Buy some drippers http://www.dripirrigation.com/drip_irrigation_info.php?cPath=38&products_id=984 You will need 1 for every line/ 1 for every plant.
9. Buy this adapter to make the whole thing work. http://www.dripirrigation.com/drip_irrigation_info.php?cPath=37_58&products_id=481 This will connect to assembly so that you can hook up 1/2 inch tubing from the drip assembly to your water pump 1/2 inch hole using the 1/2 inch tubing.
10. Buy some timers one for each pump. http://www.hydroempire.com/store/product_info.php/products_id/352
11. Buy a tubing cutter such as http://www.dripirrigation.com/drip_irrigation_info.php?products_id=1263
Just a few notes: The 12 assembly head is the only one that works the 6 head one does not work for this. So if you don't need 12 cap the extra ones off. You might want a tray to place your plants in for run-off. Set your timer for once a day and your done. I run my assembly inside my grow tent (my rez/storage tote is outside of it for easy access and maintance) and place it into my tray just in case something happens. Nothing has (yet) so I guess it is up to the grower where you place your drip head. The closer to your plants the less 1/4 inch tubing you need to run to reach your plants.
Hope it helps
