no i just bought it on groove tickets in like july when they first were available. . they hadnt announced any artist yet but i loved last years and i knew i was going to go already so i bought it cheap while i could. The NOS center is a really dope venue. Last year the subs in the DnB room were soo loud that from outside the building u could hear the whole building rattling

its like a fairground set up. There are like 4-5 separate huge buildings and maby 2 outside stages and there is a huge fountain on the side of the outside stage. No bleachers or seats really. just big open floors. last year they did some real crazy fire works. they had a 2 story bus you could go on and chill inside. This one guy did a backflip off it and the got carnival rides and stiltwalkers and all kinds of shit.

Did that answer your question?
It sort of does WOOKIE, lmao

So you saying their are 4 indoor rooms and 2 outside venues? The trance room is outside right? How is the crowd flow? How many doors or entrances to their to the main room? I heard the dnb rooms is gonna be considerably bigger... I remember in TAO... the trance room is sick packed.... and eventhough I love TRANCE... I couldnt stand peeps stepping on my shoes and pushing ever 5 minutes or so... So i marched my ass to the DNB room... which was quite a huge spot but located in dirt pit.. got hell of dirty... including my ears...the spot was nice because it was bigger than the usual box size location and it was outside... but the dirt was flying everywhere!

No main stage is a really big room. Its like a fairground set up like for a county fair or some shit,. Not too many doors going into and out of the main stage. None of the rooms were overly crowd. It is defs a lot hotter inside the rooms than it is outside. big temperature difference

Inside what room? The trance room or dnb? I would think it'll be similar to the big massive room in EDC.. with the rides in the middle..and a huge layout to get your groove on!

Since were at the topic of a big music festival... I would love to drop a few more artist I enjoy... including some hots tracks laid out by these artist:

RANDY BOYER (Check out his podcast... great tune selection but overplay some of the tracks, great tracks and remixes)
FILO & PERI (Great vocal tracks and one headbanger that I love called "Drops of Jupiter)
GARETH EMERY (Has a great new spin on trance.... great synths and borderlines of some house occasionally, a few good track and remixes- excellent podcast too)
ORJAN NILSEN (Has insane, wicked headbangers that would rock any big trance room)
ALEX KUNNARI (iF YOU havent heard of this fellow... check him out... new banging talent... he blew up the dancefloors at Floridas World Music Conference)
Cosmic Gate (These guys have been around for a while and they keep out tearing it up! Their new CD is fabulous and the remixes always seek to surprise me)
Myon & Shane 54 (DUDE this guys rock it... fuckin remix masters like no other... they put the record on wax and just let it slide...a definite like for peeps that love the breakbeat science in their trance)

I wish I still lived in SoCal sometimes because of these parties! :( NorCal still has its parties too, but in my short time up here, it hasn't quite been the same. Above and Beyond played at EDC and tore it up. I forget who mentioned Ferry Corsten, but it seems we like similar types of trance. My favorite DJ is AVB, but I like so many others too though. I wish I could go to this party, but I'm just too far away, and can't get the time off either. To whoever goes, have an awesome time and have a dose for me!:)

Oh do I ever love ABOVE & BEYOND... They have a few vocal, melodic beauties!

I was so pissed when I missed out on them at the last NOCTURNAL! Their podcast is fabulous, the mixing has an evanescent touch... and the way they connect with the crowd is awe-spiring! Their cd compilations are brilliant and they just bring in the best upcoming talent! I hope to see them soon.

Armin Van Buuren is another man on my list that surely rocks a crowd... and his production skills are brillaint and fourth front especially with his new vocal tracks... which received a corncopia or worth wild remixes! His state of trance podcast has been going on for years with massive success!

Aren't the classics the best... Sasha has a very unique sound.. but I seen him at TAO a few yrs back... and he didnt really impress. Alot of their tracks are spacey as I like to call groove hypnotic... alot of peeps stopped dancing and we just hypnotized for 8 minutes straight... alot of his tracks were stretched out far too long. His tracks are more suitable for shrooms and other psychedelic drugs. Although, xpander is a great track for its time... and has a great feel to it- hence the title xpander!

One of my most favorite vocal classics is from Andain, track called "Beautiful Things". Second most favorite vocal track is Delerium, tracked entitled "Innocente" (Remixed by Dj Tiesto). Pure balls out trance classics are from Ferry Corsten under his alias name Veracocha, entitled "Carte Blanche", another Ferry Corsten under his alias name System F, entitled "Out of the Blue". New coming artist and tracks are as follows: Orjan Nilsen, entitled "La Guitarra", Gareth Emery, entitled "Formentera What".

Holden & Thompson's track Nothing is another epic classic... I think it was on one of Dj Tiesto's early compilations... I believe the CD was called NYANA. Its a very slow song, but encaptures thought and almost a sexual appeals comes from the low key depths in the song.

Both the first two tracks were very weak and something i'll expect in a club that is empty... SKream's remix of La Roux, In for the kill IS somewhat appealing... if you have a nice BASS... to carries that "BER-ER-ER-ER" SOUND

I checked out the link and saw your tracklist... alot of goodies contain in your compilation... but all of them are popular and sometimes overplayed tracks... you might want to slip some hidden gems in their. I see you like Tangerine Dream... great stuff! I also like Orbital!

What kind of treats are peeps bringing to NOCTURNAL besides the usual candy.... such as accesories: vicksticks, lasers and glow in the dark toys, clothing accessories such as socks or headbands, what kind of jackets will peeps be sporting (you know once it gets past midnite things are gonna start to chill down weather wise and its best to have a nice shield to protect from the ecstasy shivers- not mistakened for the Armin Van Buuren shivers.. lmao)????????

Thanks? There are many hidden gems in there. Are you sure you checked the tracklist out in its entirety? Some of those are from WAY back! I didn't think most people would even know some of them, which is why I shyed away from trying to use them in the first place. It's a fine line trying to please people and trying to remain true to yourself. Wouldn't you agree? Ever spun yourself?
