How do you count nodes? I am going to FIM at 4th node. Is the stalk coming out of the ground a node? Between sets of leaves are nodes. But does the area where a new internode is forming can be considered a node? I am counting 3 nodes from the ground with another forming. Should I wait until that forms a stem and top that at the appropriate time.

the first little set, don't count, then each set of branches count as a node

Do you count the first leaves with 3 fans on them or start counting with the leaves with 5 fans? Doing my first grow and trying to learn.
