None of the Above

Wouldn't it be nice if ballots had a None of the Above option for every office and if that option won they'd have to go on back out and find fresh candidates and run the whole show all over again? Then maybe after returning a dozen or so times with their crappy choices (all parties IMO give us crappy choices) They might just give in and find some Real choices. Wouldn't it be nice if the most qualified citizens to be our President were running for the position?

It doesn't work like that, only evil people are attracted to monopolies of power such as a government..only evil people seek monopolies of power with no accountability for their actions..Evil people are to government as flys are to shit. Good people don't care about these things, Evil people don't care about ethics, thats why its all a crock of shit. Government hasn't worked in 10's of thousands of years and there will never be an exception.

I can see none of the above siting alone at the table on the next United-Nation meeting & representing all the country at the same time consensus would finally be reach

A transvestite wearing a nun's habit ran for office as "Nun of the Above". Does that count?

The problem is, most American don't know what the hell they're talking about. They're to busy worrying about Dancing with The Stars, American Idol, Major League Baseball, Football, etc. We need people entering politics with areas of expertise. A degree in political science is not a sufficient qualification if you ask me. That just shows me that he/she can give really nice speeches and get along with other countries diplomatically. However, If you asked me..a qualified president should have a degree in Accounting/Political Science, BusinessAdmin/Political science, Finance/Political science, or Economics/Political science. Maybe even a history minor and/or studied constitutional law.

I wouldn't want to go through it all again. How about if none of the above wins, the office remains vacant till the next election? With most, we wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
