Hey fellow growers, just thought id share a few pics and my experience thus far,
I have done a couple of grows before this but i literally had no clue, i just read the back of the nute bottle and fed them straight tap water with no ph adjustment and as you can imagine i ended up with allsorts of deficiencys, i still ended up with a decent yield but the plants looked like shit towards the end.
Luckily since then ive done abit of research invested in a ph and ppm meter, which i would most defo reccomend to any new grower as they are simply essential.
Anyway heres a few of my babys, there exactly 14 days old from seedling, my strains are, Original sensible Pure Kush, and Original Sensible Chronic Lights which are both great strains for new growers, ive done them both before and they can take alot of stick, im also doing for the first time, white widow x big bud, sam sara green love poition, and last but defo not least one of my favorite smokes, Blue Cheese.
Im growing in canna coco coir pro, mixed with perlite 70/30, my nute tank consists of canna coco a and b, rhizotonic, cannazym and from last week a dose of cal mag as my baby leafs strarted to turn yellow with brown spots, as my tap water is very soft, and using coco which sucks alot of the cal mag up and they wasnt getting enough so i added the cal mag and within a day or 2 the affected leafs seemed to glaze over and the yellowing stopped spreading. (Phew)
I started my seedlings on a low ec mix of just 0.3 which including my tap water which is 0.1 and gradually upped the dose now im on 0.7 and they seem to love it, my ph is around 5.8 and 6.0 it seems to raise over time from 5.8 but i dont like to add ph down as it adds to the ec, hopefully they dont mind to much.
Well guys there it is, please feel free to share any feedback, all is appreciated, ive been on here a while so i know to take all with a pinch of salt as ultimately we can only find our own way, no amount of opinions no matter how expert can amount to your personal experience of learning your plants and adapting to be a better grower.
Good luck to all my fellow growers. Ill be updating this post with the progrees through my girls lifes.
Peace
