New to growing , figured Ibwoukd start with berry ryder and midnight kush ,using hydroponics...Any tips ,tricks ,do's and donts? Would be appreciated

Why start with an auto and a non-auto? BigSteve.
Its a big pain in the ass once your veg stage is over because you Auto is obviously going to need a long light cycle throughout its life cycle if you want to get decent results out of it i.e. 24/0 or 20/4 just for examples. And once your photo period plant is past its vegetation stage you are going to need to change its light cycle to 12/12 to induce flowering. Just not a wise idea for a new grower especially trying to grow them hydro. I would suggest against it imhoNo paticular reason, is that bad?

Can you really put one seed in a pot ? Does it seem like my set up is missing pieces ?
