Hi all. Sorry if this has been discussed here before, but I couldn't find it.
Today my seedlings broke through the soil, and now I have them under fluorescent light. I'm planning on moving them into my greenhouse in a couple weeks, but I'm unsure how much light I should give them until then. I've read a few different things, like giving them 24 hours of light, 18 hours, etc. I'm wondering, since they will only be spending a couple weeks indoor under light before they go outside, would it be more beneficial for me to just mimic the natural light cycle until I put them out? For example, if sunrise tomorrow is 6:00 AM, and sunset is 9:00 PM, I turn the light on and off at those times, increasing the daylight time by a few minutes every day. If I give them 18 - 24 hours light for a couple weeks and then move them out into 15 - 16 hours of light, won't that make them want to start flowering? Will they veg properly if I stick to the natural cycle of 15 - 16 hours of light for a couple weeks and then move them to the greenhouse where they will get pretty much the same amount of daylight?
I don't know how much difference it makes, but the strain is Early Vixen, which is supposedly 60% indica.
Sorry about the noob question. I really want to give them the best start possible.
