Noob problem with seedling or paranoia?

Hello all not my first post but I don't think I ever said hello... I have two seedlings sprouted 8 days ago, and I’m planning on putting them in a little DWC tomorrow. Tonight, I noticed little yellow spots on one. They are under a little k5 light bar and the one closest to the light has the spots. Roc wool was soaked in ph6 water with 1 teaspoon per gal of superthrive and I put the seeds in the rockwool to sprout. Noticed a little stretching so raised the plants closer to the light tall one is about 2” from the light. Confession I did spray the outside of the rockwool because I thought it was going to dry out.

Could be nothing figure no hurt in asking thanks in advance for any help!

How long did you soak the rockwool? Just curious. Probably nothing that it won't grow through.
It's ok to keep them moist, just make sure you let them dry out. Their root systems are tiny but growing so don't overload with water or nutes.
Good luck.

only soaked for about 5 hours then read I should have washed it and done allot more. So much conflicting info also read I should have used ph5.5-ph5.8 water instead of ph6. Then read I should shake it and then let dry out didn't do that and sprayed the outside of the cubes. guess this is a lesson in what not to do.... Thanks for the advice will put them in my little system tomorrow and hope for the best lol

Was 6 after but the yellow just showed today, they have been nice and green the past few days. I raised the plants That's why i was wondering if it was two close to the light but seems people say 2" is fine.''

6 after is about right. Those little cubes will really raise the water ph in 24 hours..its crazy.

I'm gonna guess that it's a ph related lockout and will grow out of it as it grows and takes on more nutrients.

I'm sure someone will disagree with me though.. lol Good job so far...she'll be ok.
