noob question about recently acquired clone

i just got a hold of a Bubba kush clone, my question is, Can i plant it in a pot of my FFOF soil WITH the rockwool it has rooted into?

Also, The place i got it from had lighrs on for 24hrs/day. My Veg chamber has been doing 18/6 for a month now. I've read on here that switching a plant to 18/6, if it was an a 24hrs cycle, will make the plant think its time for flowering. So i was wondering if i switched my chamber to 24hrs will i confuse all my plants?

I dont really want to go out and buy more lights if i dont have to, but if it compromises the veg stage i will. Thank you for your patience!!!

if your rook wool is like 3' you can keep it like that for months as long as you water and feed it. you can put rock wool into soil or hydro.

You can plant it in a pot or another rockwool cube if you really needed or wanted to. You can also do this with smaller containers if your plants become rootbound whereby you can cut the bottom off of a small pot & plant it inside of a bigger pot. Your best bet is to plant it straight into the ideal pot you're looking to harvest in such as a 3 or 5 gallon etc.

You can switch the light cycle from 24 to 18 hours without having a detrimental effect on the plants. The plant is going to just think it's part of the summer equinox & flower will usually only be triggered by going through 12/12. I've read multiple articles by Jorge Cervantes & Ed Rosenthal that outline plants grown under 24 hours & 18 hours make no difference in vegetative stages & plant growth. One thing that can help you is to supplement UV lighting as it can make the buds more rock hard and more dense.

Good luck.

i prefer to do multiple transplants and not put it right into the final pots. it seems to work better for me, but its probally more of a personal choice than anything else.

Have you ever tried cutting the bottom of original pot, dropping it in a bigger pot with soil & allowing the roots to grow through the bottom & into the medium of the bigger container? It helps with preventing transplant shock from what I've read.

i transplant right into bigger pots, during flowering even(just about every grow in fact) and i dont have any transplant shock problems. ive done it more times than i can count w/o any problems. dont get me wrong, what your saying isnt a bad way to do things, especially if you havent quite mastered transplanting, but i dont really have a problem with that.
