noob question

i know this might sound like a really noobish question but i just want to make sure of what im doing before i do something stupid. when should you start to give your plant nutrients

smart noob question, alot of people kill their plants because they didnt know the answer to this

i say you should wait till its 2 weeks at least to give nutes, maybe a month

the plant will also tell you when you need nutrients

thanks ill give it another 2 weeks so

I give them two weeks plain water then a half strength nute solution on week 3,
i use a full strength rooting additive to the half strength feed,it is a good question,
i made the mistake of giving nute's after one week and fucked up my plants badly,
they never fully recovered from it,but you sure do learn from your mistakes....happy growing!

it is better to learn from other peoples mistakes, thats why i love this site

Yeah for the most part the rui community is very helpfull and of course you will get a dickhead answer from time to time. But everyone had to start somewhere so dont pay any mind to those.

Yeah thats true there does seem to be a greater amount of dickheads around at the moment,
those people who think every one is flush with money and can buy there way out of any problems especially piss
me off!!!

i hate people with this attitude;

first off dude get a 400w hps and cool tube ballast! with out that your wasting your time, you might as well kill all of those now

Very true a lot of people post without even knowing what kind of set up people have it's
all get this, buy that,my nute's are better than those,even had one guy comment that my nute's were
crap and in the same post he said he never heard of them!!!!!!!
We are all here because we love doing what we are doing,it's not a pissing contest,i have as much respect for someone trying to
grow with a candle as i have for someone with an all singing all dancing setup,because in the end we aqre all after one common thing,
good decent bud,that doesn't cost the earth!! an dthe pleasure of partaking in such a wonderful hobby!!!

ive heard people mention this guy who grows with a candle, its a joke right? i couldnt imagine...

ha ha it's called ye olde sea of green,pirates used it on ships years ago...........yarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
