Noob Question

Can a 120v ballast be plugged into a regular outlet or do i need to do some type of special wiring? Just want to check so I don't overload. Thanks in advance

It can yes... but depending on the outlet, if connected to the same breaker as kitchen or any other heavy wattage appliances then you may pop a breaker. 9 times out of 10 you will be fine.
