Hey Ww. I know you run these redstrips, have you ever compared total ppdf to only red ppfd, to get what proportion of total ppfd you add?
No I havent. Never even thought about it. But when I go later this evening. I can take my meter with me. And shut down the sammys and check and see what they add.

Thanks for all of your replies, I'm going with 4ks, from the graphs I've seen they give the most bang for your watt in both blues and reds. And btw, my "goddamnit wtf should I use", was not meant to be taken as demanding, but like a frustrated man who just threw his arms in the air, more comical than rude. If you read the entire thread you'll see one person tell me to use 3ks, then another to use 4ks, and then back and forth. And here I am about to click "buy", when I get another post with someone telling me to go a different direction.

No worries, man. I actually took it exactly as you meant it!

I changed my mind too and went with 4K. If you google the spectral absorption chart for chlorophyll A and B, the blue peak is actually higher than the red peak.

You need to use the action spectrum to dial your lighting in. Absorption spectrum is what the Plurple manufactures used to sell us old shitty under powered lights.
