Noob that needs help

Im trying to build a growing closet and i need help putting it together ... so far all i know is that im gonna use this closet http://www.lowes.com/pd_83870-444-WS48MP_0__?productId=1102057 with a 600w HPS & MH... Can someone please help me out with starting my project ? Suggestions?? Anything ?

cabinet looks a little too small for a 600w. imho..

eh up GG... I built my own cab using furniture boards from focus DIY.. cheap as chips and looks like a big wardrobe... bit of timber and your away.. can build it to your own specs... think the total cost of my cab which is 4ft wide...2,5ft deep and 6ft high came in at around £50... cannaversity.com have this lighting calculator that will tell you the minimum and max lighting requirements and also what the minimum extraction needed... google it and see.. read about the calculator from one of the good peeps here... well handy...

the problems I see with this cabinet so far is
1. 4 shelves that are not adjustable
2. Only 20" deep . Going to need a small light hood.
3. Going to get very hot with that light. Going to need a good exaust and another fan to keep the air moving.

I would suggest buying a covered garment rack to put in your bedroom and move all your clothes in there . You can then customize your closet to turn into a secure grow area. This is what I did and I can now harvest 6 plants every 8 weeks.

I'd have a sealed hood with seperate airflow with high cfm
